Struiyk motm
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably, but he was badly at fault for their goal I feel.
Thanks for joining in everyone
Ugly wins are nice
Back on Saturday lunchtime
Thank God ft 2-1 massive relief but have to play better than that although Joseph should have wrapped it up sooner and not made us all have to suffer it out but a win is a win and top of the league so shouldn't really complain but as long as Ramazanni is okay everything
should be okay..... Thanks Earl as usual and all for the interaction/torture!!!

completely to blame for the goal, schoolboy defending.
3 points but made to sweat in the end.
Dynamics changed when Largie went off.
Mateo must learn to head a ball.
Anyway cheers Earl et al.
yes I forgot about Struiyk being too casual and slack for their goal so I retract my MOTM award and give it to Tanaka
Yeah Struijk should have done better for the goal. Thought Firpo got his positioning completely wrong too and should have covered it.
Struijk great game otherwise.
Tanaka gets motm for me.
Would like to see Joseph given the starting spot again. Piroe hasn’t done nearly enough to convince me he does enough to start.
Our complacency when in front could easily have come back to bite us once again. This has to reflect the philosophy of Farke - don’t go for a big win while you can sit on a 2-goal lead.

bogle and meslier not culpable in that goal rest of the defence a sh!t storm and have to do better.
Still we won.
played a lot better than that at home against Burnley and Portsmouth so winning when you are not at your best is a good omen but we can't afford too many of those types of performances but at the end of the day we got away with it.

I missed the first few minutes, but I have to say we have not played well at all. We were gifted 2 goals but apart from that very even.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are joking? Every time we went forward first hand we looked like scoring! Game should have been over at HT.
Second half they got more aggressive and in our face. We struggled but still had plenty of chances to score second half.
Good subs at the right time made a difference late on.
I think Mes made one save and had to punch one corner away. To be fair though their corners from Ince were excellent.
I watched the game live at ER but I honestly think I didn’t see a misplaced pass from Tanska!
He held us together second half and was MOM by a long way.
if Ramazanni didn't hobble off we looked well set for at least a 4 nil job but it wasn't meant to be that easy obviously and a stressful uncomfortable 2nd half ensued but 2 home wins was the target after Sunderland so credit to the lads for toughing it out and another game Rodon didn't get booked so that's a positive too.
The boys toughed it put and took 3 points. After the Watford goal, they didn't manage a shot on target and only our own wayward finishing meant it wasn't comfortable. So long as Largie is ok, not a bad nights work. MOT
Yeah Joseph has to start. Annoying on many fronts that he missed that chance but it would have forced Farke to change it up for Saturday. If Largie is injured for Saturday I'd start James. Solomon was pretty woeful and needs to step it up dramatically.
AO and Aaronsson were outstanding

Yep spot on
Yeah AO is terrific. Rothwell started well but found it a bit too physical in the 2nd half. We didn't play well but we had enough chances to score 5.
Did they say Firpo is out next game after his yellow?
Yes Firpo misses the weekend trip to Bristol City having picked up his 5th booking and Ramazani is doubtful with a twisted ankle.
James should start on Saturday. Thought Solomon didn't look fully fit. Might be better to give him minutes as a sub to get his fitness up
Mateo upfront and Byram will probably be left back as we haven't seen Schmidt much.
Personally when Ampadu is fit would love to see Tanaka with him to see what he can do in a more attacking sense. We were told hes naturally more attacking. Been brilliant so far though in that more defensive role
Definitely start James if Ramazani is out and switch Gnonto as most on here have already stated which with Ramazani having a reported twisted ankle looks likely he will be out for at least one game but hopefully he will only miss that game for us and no more.
I'm not sure Farke will start Joseph and instead stick with Piroe for 70 minutes depending how the game goes plus Byram for the suspended Firpo seems logical so hopefully we can continue our excellent winning record at Ashton gate and Tanaka and Rothwell can continue their fine Strachan and McCallister impersonation.
