I don't suppose there are many Bristol City supporters on here and of course members of Manning family will definitely not be reading this but all human life is precious and their story made me feel very sad, much love and deepest condolences at this difficult time.

This should be tougher than Watford with Raz and firpo not in the team.

Would take a draw but our rivals have easier games than they had midweek so we'd drop points most likely. Don't see us losing atm so will go narrow 2-1 win. Would go Schmidt at left back as we signed him instead of signing a 10 on deadline day so why not?

Without Razamani I'm 50/50 over us grabbing the 3 points and the odds on us securing a 4th consecutive Ashton Gate victory I think it would be must be in doubt so I think we may have to settle for draw and I wouldn't be surprised if its a goaless affair.

I was just about to make that point.

In fact the only natural left footers we have are both out injured - Firpo and Gruev. That’s why Rothwell was taking sheet corners from the right wing all night on Tuesday.

I would go Gnonto wide left with Byram but an I right in thinking Schmidt is a left pegger? If so then I retract my statement above and maybe he might get the nod?

I’m going for a hard fought 1-2 win. Tanaka and James.

I'll be pretty impressed if we manage to win at Bristol. I'm sure they'll be doing their best to snuff out the threat from willy and Tanaka, maybe leaving
deliveries from Rothwell as our main threat. Hopefully James and Solomon get up to speed sooner rather than later.

What an absolutely beautiful morning it is and great to be alive. Off for a morning walk along one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK.

Feeling confident we can pick up a valuable 3 points today but no doubt we wont make it easy for ourselves.
Dan James will be the key man today.

there needs to be a rule where if you cant get on the first train and be there (delays and transfers aside) for kick off then the gme is moved later.

yeah, i came back to that comment the next day and thought what the hell did you write... dont know why i wrote that, think i was distracted with something else and was really thinking about what i was writing and wasnt thinking about it clearly...

Struijk's a natural left footer also.

This is going to be a hugely emotional game for the Robins because it's the first time their coach, Liam Manning will be back, following the death of his son.
We are going to have to be at our professional best to win this one.
CIty are playing well at the moment. They beat Boro at Teeside and then in midweek, they should have killed Stoke, but drew 2 - 2 thanks to three worldies from the keeper (who we should have bought in the pre-season. Did Stoke really get Johannsen for a million, or did they forget to add a '0' on the cheque?). They are unbeaten at home since the end of last season and they see us as their biggest bogey side. They will be 110% onto us today.
We could be a bit shaky without Firpo and Ramazani, but I think we have enough in reserve to give them a few problems. We are looking confident and we don't panic if we lose a goal. I think Meslier will be a key player for us, because they will be targetting him.
Bristol have drawn a lot of games and I see this one going the same way, 2-2 in a very exciting game, with DJ and Willie to save our bacon.

The emotion might just lift City to new heights. We have to be strong and not get drawn into things which are obviously very sad.

Morning all and no real surprises for me in the lineup as I expected Piroe to start so we shall see what unfolds and whether my gut feeling of a draw is accurate. Would obviously be chuffed to bits if we win but my expectations of that are considerably reduced with the Razsmani absence but fingers crossed James and the rest of the lads have a blinder.
