Oh wow!
Carra was comparing him to Haaland last night
Said something along the lines of if they swapped teams would their numbers be much different
That’s right, he was comparing that big lump with Haaland

Love suicidal, lights camera what an album
Without dwelling on what could’ve been, I do wonder if the clear lack of robust scouting and planning for a new striker is a consequence of the club making assumptions that Greenwood was the future of the position.
I know it’s not likely. However, the alternative screams frightening incompetence.
Yup.
Lost count now of the proper centre forwards - who would have been a 'perfect fit' at united - that the club has either ignored, sold or, worse, stand by and watch them go to a rival epl club.
Usually on the misguided principle that the club they are playing for are somehow less able to scout for and coach local talent. When actually the clubs they are playing for are currently better at doing just that - certainly better than united, as a club, currently are.
Instead, pretending that deadbeats from the academy are going to do what's required or buying some pipsqueak on the basis of some 'stand out performance' in what are, essentially, uncompetitive and meaningless international tournaments.
The whole 'culture', 'philosphy', 'process' (whatever) needs to change from one of directing a business to one of directing a football/sport's club. The two things ARE different, even if they share some features.

This.
Chris Wood has scored the same amount of PL goals this season than the whole Man Utd team.
