He’s admitted he’s not at his best. Give the guy time. His first game for us was excellent then he got injured just after.
Fully fit he will make a difference.
I dispare at our fans. We go away to a team unbeaten in six games on a day when emotions are running sky high too. We come away with an easy point and could have easily won the game but for Gnonto, Bogle and Joseph fluffing their lines.
Burnley have just drawn at home to QPR! Let that sink in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My recollection of Solomon's debut was that for the first half he was entirely predictable and that Lewie Coyle was able to defend against him with very few concerns. He kept shepherding him down towards the corner flag. It was only in the second half and only one assist that made him stand out, without that average at best, it certainly wasn't an all round "excellent" performance.
On the point of him admitting he is not at his best, well that's obvious isn't it, no doubt there was a good player there once, how long do we give him, he's firing blanks at the moment. If he hasn't turned it round by the next window when we could send him back and utilise that loan space with a better option, if there was one, how would that feel?

Apparently we're paying Solomon 50 grand per week because Ajax came in for him just as we were about to sign him.
Doesn't look money well spent at the moment. Hopefully he'll come good in time.

Could use another striker. One is bang average and slows us down, one cant hit a barn door and one is barely fit ..... and can't hit a barn door.
Teams have pretty much always needed a 20+ goal striker to get out of this league and we still don't have one. Wood, Gayle, Toney, Mitrovic, Armstrong, Pukki to name a few recent ones.

And Sunderland are doing a Leicester/Ipswich, won 2-0, 5 points ahead - we are dropping too many points. Still Bristol city are unbeaten at home, so fair enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't need a 20 goal striker anyway. Leicester got 96 points last season. You need someone who is mobile and can bring others into play. He wasn't great when he came on today but Joseph makes us such a better team. I reckon he'll go on a good run of goals anyway. With Piroe we are playing with 10 men. He has no physical presence whatsoever.

Personally did not think it was too bad today. Performance was good enough to win and the only thing that was missing was a clinical finish or a tiny bit better cross/through ball that would have resulted in another golden chance. We gave an in-form at home Bristol City side absolutely nothing which remains very positive going forwards.
In terms of individuals I am a lot happier with Bogle these days who is contributing miles more than the first few games of the season when he looked like a league 2 player. He was solid today defensively and showed desire to get forwards and make something happen. Byram was very good when you consider its his first game in quite some time. Part of a defence that gave nothing away. Midfield is looking far more fluent with Rothwell/Tanaka. The only starting player who didnt really contribute much was Piroe but we all know why he is picked to play. Solomon was not great but needs the supporters to support him and give him time.
Every time we dont win a game there is a general ch1tting the bed form Leeds fans. Sunderland are compounding that with their excellent start but I remain confident of promotion from what I have seen so far.

Solomon has looked very sluggish but that clearly suggests he’s not up to speed, he looked good in the first couple of games until the injury.
That said, when it all settles down we are the best team in this league I’m certain of it. We’ve played everyone around us and they’ve all been very average, including Sunderland

Clearly watching a different player to me, in the early part of the season he played two games, in the first one Coyle was able to manage him and he showed no variety in what he did in the first half repeatedly going outside and didn't have the pace to go round him. It wasn't until the second half when he twigged this and he started to come inside that he got more joy and his assist. Hull are 15th and are not having a great season.
The second game was against Burnley, I can forgive the slip, he had seldom played at Elland Road and fell victim to the slickness of the pitch (nobody else did), he showed some glimpses but faded and was replaced. He had flown back from representing Israel but it makes me wonder whether he is cut out for Championship football which is hectic.

Not only berating them but swearing loudly with kids close by! Fortunately he doesn’t often get his dads ticket.

This is probably true, I make no bones about this and have never hidden the fact that I didn't want the guy at the club in the first place, I will try to be a little bit more objective, like him or loathe him, he's a Leeds player and whilst most of us would rather have Largie starting that option isn't available.
At the moment he isn't fully match fit and the last couple of games without that match sharpness has looked well short of what we need.
I have never blamed him for the Burnley goal, that I have always felt was an unfortunate slip that could have happened to anyone, if anything I blame a combination of the policy of overwatering and the fact he had had little opportunity to practice at Elland Road, he was a victim of Farke's style of play if anything.
I do think some player's are less suited to the demands of the championship and if he doesn't improve, maybe it isn't the right league for him.
The bits where he has turned it on, he has looked good but watch the Hull game again, against Coyle you will see I am right, for a lot of that game he was predictable and easily dealt with, unfortunately the Burnley game was so overshadowed by the slip I cannot remember how he played.
