Thomas Frank?

They concede for fun as well. No thanks

I'm fully behind Ange no matter what for three more windows.

I would give Ange the season.

Have already said the cups are the way forward. Team is to inconsistent in the league. Cannot handle the intensity of Prem football.

Frank is clearly a decent manager. You don't continue to keep a promoted Championship team up for a few seasons in the PL, even into the top half, without having something about you. Plus he's lost a few key players. He would have to be one that is considered if/when we lose Ange.

What was Ossie Ardiles record at this point? Feel like we are even worse than his team was and similar attacking philosophy

Thomas Frank, no franks

I said a while back Spurs best chance is in the cups this season. Ange needs to take them seriously otherwise he will be out of a job.

Starting on Wednesday against Man City he needs to go full strength. No tinkering with nine changes.

might as well get Frank Spencer

we are a laughing stock

He could take cup competitions seriously but if the league performance isn't good enough he'll be out of a job anyway. There is only so much Levy is going to tolerate not making top 4 and we know he values that more than anything.

Blaming fans for Levy's decisions?

Definitely on the fans for going a whole year without signing a player.

How is it remotely true what you're saying though? Fans have had a problem with Levy for ages because he hasn't catered to us.

I will say and have said it before, that in more recent times he has at least tried pushing the boat out with the spending and the punctuality of signings. That's why I feel the ball is more in Ange's court at the moment.

I don't think there is much wrong with the current players, quality wise. What is wrong is they are spineless and weak mentally. They just don't bust a gut when it is needed. That may be down to the manager, who needs to be tearing into them from time to time. Both Maddison and Romero need benching for starters.

posted 3 weeks, 5 days ago

Yes he has spent a lot but the squad still has holes init.

Werner on loan. Davies and Forster still knocking about. We have alot of good players on their day but not one worldie. Maybe Son, he has his faults.

But it is still a young squad and lacks experience and some of them are going to have to grow pretty up pretty quick. The likes of BJ, Udogie and Micky.

And some of the experienced players keep letting us down like Romero and Madders.

I really don't think at this point sacking the manager is the answer and I have no problem backing him either.

We used to berate Hojbjerg but at least he was a battler. Well he was under Jose. We need a couple of tough players who won’t take no craap from the likes of Palace

The issue is, the manager you keep defending, keeps playing the players you say need benching. It is a juxtaposition that doesn't equate.

If you support the manager, you are defending his decisions.

If you disagree with his selections, then you shouldn't be supporting/defending him.

So which is it?

A midfield 3 including Madders and Kulu will not consistently work. Two of Biss, Bents and Sarr have to start in this stupid stubborn system he will not change.

The man, it is becoming clear, is a moron.

It doesn't eqaute because where did I say they need benching? You are making things up now. Relax.

I support him because I want us to succeed with his brand of football. I don't think he is perfect, he needs to make adjustments, one is to bring Sarr back into team and play a double pivot.

Do I think he will make the neccessary change? If results carry on like today, he will need to. He has shown at other clubs in the past he has and I am still waiting for him to do the same here. Second half against West Ham was a good example. He needs to realise this.

I wouldn't say Villa have any worldies either. Perhaps Martinez? Their squad is no better than ours and look at what they and their manager is able to do. Same with Brighton. Their squad is no better than ours. Yet both teams have only lost once. We've lost 4 times!

There's not much you can say other than Ange should be doing better. Even if you want to pick on the squad, Ange signed off on these new additions and youngsters.

Actually, fans of his previous clubs state the complete opposite. He doesn't learn or change anything.

It has worked for him previously and he is convinced it is going to work eventually here. I think he is wrong and we just have to wait for the enevitable ending. I just think that as that would appear to be the enevitable conclusion to this, waiting seems a complete waste of a season.

Remember, I want to be wrong.

It's worked for him in much weaker leagues, that's the difference. Look at how Kompany struggled in the PL, or McKenna this season. He's managed in Championship standard leagues before, when the PL is a whole new ruthless standard.
