losing that villa game will be a sickener

losing two in the league in a row, and at home again to villa and especially as theyre a team youd think we were hoping to gain on or even overtake this season

Think we'll lose all 3 and expect nothing to happen... Ange be replaced this summer after making no progress and proving what we all know that pub league tactics in the PL don't work

Might survive with 2 losses. I think losing all 3 might be enough for Levy to pull the plug. Depends on the nature of defeats also. Obviously if we got hammered by Villa, that alone could be enough.

Going by Levy's tolerance levels for previous managers, Ange is already on borrowed time.

I'm hoping Mason is quietly becoming a great manager behind the scenes. Absorbing all the knowledge from these managers he's been alongside. We get told that people at the club really rate him and he's an intelligent guy.

I think we'd all be happy if he was to become manager some day and succeed. Doubt results-wise we'd be much worse with him managing now.

Could we jump before Man Utd if we are looking at similar people?

ETH can't last much longer!

Ange will join a long long line of managers that couldn’t win anything under Enic

Kids? No chance! Their second string is better than our first. It'll be a really tough game and I think Ange will rotate too.

I honestly think he could lose all three and he'd be fine. Maybe I'm not seeing it the same as you guys. Do you all want him out then? We've won 7 out of 9 games haven't we? I know our league form has been patchy but all things considered, apart from yesterday, every game we've dropped points in this year we did enough to win. We're not that far away.

Saying that, I was only made aware yesterday that since that first 10 games last year, we've won 16, drawn 5 and lost 16. I mean, that is pretty bad to be fair. I just can't go through another manager merry-go-round when there's not much to choose from and we're already building a squad in Ange's profile. To pivot again would be madness as we'd have to start flogging again.

I felt Poch's sacking was premature so I don't really trust my gut on this. Levy has a habit of pulling the trigger when you least expect it but I'd rather stick and see how things go. We've got to give this time.

ETH gone and he had as many league losses as Ange does this season. Only 2 points behind us.

ETH getting binned might be bad news for Ange..... If RVN does a half decent job and they give him the new manager bounce it will only increase the pressure on Ange if results dont improve.... Not asking for much.... The odd away win would be a start

Incomparable. He's had a season longer and a shiiiitload of money to mould a team in his image. He signed so many ex-players of his and they've pretty much all failed. Ange is only now in his second year and even in his first game you could see a way of playing. ETH had 2.5 years and I couldn't honestly tell you how they play. Any wins they got were just the product of being bailed out by talented individuals. No team cohesion whatsoever. Ange is far better than that, even if we're a little inconsistent.

It's a shame though, I was really enjoying United's fall from grace. Hopefully it continues.

Well there are reasons for and against ETH compared to Ange. One against is the style of play as you say, another is the fact he finished 8th last season. For him you could argue he won a couple of trophies and Ange hasn't come close yet. I mean let's not pretend that Ange, while still only having a year and a bit, is very much in Levy sacking territory, going by recent history.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got sacked by losing to Villa. That would leave us 8 points away from top 4. The fact that ETH has been sacked might even prompt Levy to pull the trigger sooner.

I really, really hope that isn't the case. Nothing will be achieved by sacking Ange. All we'll be left with is a bunch of players that likely won't fit into the next manager's plans and we'll be in a same position we've always been in on this manager merry-go-round.

I fully expect Spurs to beat Villa. If they don't then pressure will ramp up.

But let's not jump the gun. Villa are hardly prime Barca.

You can't rule out nothing being achieved by sacking Ange. It may or may not, depends on who we bring in. You only have to look at Villa and how quick the turnaround was under Emery to see what difference can be made by a manager.

I think we have a decent squad of talented players who can go on to be much bigger. So if that isn't with Ange and Ange isn't getting enough out of them, then it could with someone else. Potentially, of course it could.

Well they are better than 3 of the teams we've already lost to but yes home advantage might bail us out. I'm pretty sure they'll have good chances to score though.
