Has he managed before Sporting? Does he just use that system as it works for them and that league or his squad, or is he really rigid and fixed on that formation only?

Part of it makes sense, tbh. The kind of football he plays, his attitude and behaviour, and his commitment to bringing young players on.

But unless he looked outside 3-4-2-1, which he uses incessantly…

We have a bunch of players which he just wouldn’t pick for his system at Sporting: Rashford, Garnacho, probably Amad, Dalot, Mazraoui, Shaw…

We'll have to see then. I suppose Shaw could play as one of the three at the back.

I don't know much about him though so look forward to seeing how it pans out if it is him.

He asks an awful lot of the midfield box, but the wide CBs pick up a lot of the defensive work for the wingbacks.

He’d have to play at LCB. Theoretically, obviously. Like if he were theoretically ever to play again.

The wingbacks play very, very high up. It wouldn’t suit him at all.

Luckily we’ve got Dalot and Malacia.

I’d like to see us go for Tuchel just to wind up the FA

He’d have to set up differently with the squad we have. There’s absolutely no way he could shoehorn our players into his Sporting setup.

Maybe Amass could feature with less defensive responsibilities then.

Let’s hope he’s not a stubborn, Portuguese priiiiick like the last one we had.

I don't know what to make of Amorim, is this somebody who both the Olesexuals/EtH advocates, and the Mourinho fan boys agree with?
