was jokes they started with a senior back 4 and Gundogan and Foden, we too made changes

we were great for half an hour first half and deserved the win, they didnt create an awful lot just that chance at the end off the line, Vicario didnt make many stops

Yes, that's 8 wins out of the last 10 games, but the Ange out brigade will say that the City game doesn't count for much as they were not a full strength.

I remain confident in our manager and I think a few people on here will have to eat humble pie come the end of the season.

I was happy Ange started pretty strong. So no complaints from me.

Yeh just that little wobble last 15 minutes of the first half. But City didn`t create to much, although they had a lot of the ball.

Good win last night and really enjoyable game.... Obviously, the injuries are a worry, esp when you consider what happened last year.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.... For all the talk about Spurs being a better bet for a cup than the league.... If we are gonna win this one we are gonna have to get by City, United, Arsenal, Liverpool &/ Or Newcastle. Granted everybody has injuries/ uses their full squad in this comp but its no coincidence that its the "big heads" left

Can Spurs win it.. 100% yes.... will they win it ? not so sure

Ask any Spurs fan and they'll say it's meant to be. Ask a super computer and the chances of us winning I think will sit at around 3-5% purely on the basis that we struggle to win against bigger teams so to win it would be to defy the norm four times in a row (Everyone has a 12% chance given there's 8 team left but then you have to factor in the favourites and our record against them). I'd be staggered if we won it given the opposition left.

Arsenals draws in this comp are faaacking unreal. I knew winning last night would only lead to an equally tough game - United with a new manager.

Meanwhile after Arsenal heroically knock out Preston, they are given Palace at home.

I’m not a tin hat man, I know it’s not a conspiracy and purely luck - but we get some real schitty luck with domestic cup draws.

Even if we get through, Arsenal and Liverpool are nailed on for a semi spot - leaving the winner of Brentford vs Newcastle as our best bet

Not sure about the bad luck with domestic cup draws. I think we've had some decent draws. Last season it was Fulham in the EFL Cup, the year before it was Forest, 5 years ago it was Colchester. If we aren't beating those teams we only have ourselves to blame.

Funny you mention Fulham, as that was a case of incredibly bad luck with the draw. Bearing in mind it was the earliest round of the league cup, none of the euro sides and split into a North/South divide - Chelsea was the hardest draw we could get and Fulham the second hardest, of course we got Fulham away from home.

If we’re picking things at random though, that’s 2 seasons running we’ve drawn Man City, Coventry is the only non Prem side we have faced in a cup in a couple of years and we’ve just drawn the side that have made 3 of the last 4 domestic cup finals, winning 2 of them.

Meanwhile Arsenal play Palace at home after winning away at Preston

Add to that seems arsenal are virtually always drawn at home.

Let’s be honest… City were not that bothered about winning this match…if they were… they would have brought on Haaland

But… a win is a win

I would never have play VDV in this match… he’s always a risk… if he plays 2 matches in a week
