I think that given our opening fixtures and options in central defence, we absolutely should be bottom of the league. We have got Championship centre backs.
Remains to be seen if GON can polish a 💩 and pick up a couple of wins in November?

...I remember Tam and I being quite outspoken about how poor we felt he may be and getting shouted down on here, primarily by Wolfie. He won us over for a spell but I guess the initial thoughts were pretty spot on after all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for the mention...again. I am fully supportive of any manager, when he first comes in. However, there comes a time when, like at present, things don't seem to be getting better and results are the one thing that determines the fate of any manager,
Only a single win in 20 league games is a sign that he may well be out of his depth and a fresh face needed to kick start our campaign. Leaving it until Xmas may be too late. The stats are telling us, that any club in our position at this stage of the season, with the amount of points we've got, generally get relegated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolves have played 7 of the top 8 teams + Newcastle.
That must be hands down the toughest set of fixtures in the league and the usual stats being bottom at this time in the season likely does not take account of such difficult fixtures
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Difference though is that we took 11 points from the equivalent fixtures last season.

and have since sold Neto and Kilman for £100m and brought in no marks for a fraction of the cost.
GON did an amazing job in the circumstances last season and this season his hand has been further weakened. Your ire should be at the board, not the manager.

I agree to an extent, there are certainly mitigating factors but you look at the defensive record and the defenders we have, none of them are terrible defenders, they all have plenty of PL appearances under their belts, all are regular international starters for their countries (bar Dawson) yet our defensive record is appalling.
The board are largely to blame for the mess we're in but GON isn't blameless either.

If he goes, which I feel will be sooner rather than later if results don't start coming in, we will need to be careful who we bring in.
Please do not let it be Moyes, even for a short time.
