My partner is an employment lawyer, and I told her about this case and what she thought about it a couple of months ago.

She said that this was a slam dunk win for Mendy, having a KC defending them wouldnt have mattered.

I think that the club dealt with Greenwood in the correct way, allowing for justice to take its course before deciding what to do with him. Ultimately that worked for the club, ensuring that we received a transfer fee for him.
