It's not inconsistently Ted. Just haven't got good enough players. Vicario, Porro, Romero, Draguson, Werner, Johnson etc., etc are just all bog standard average. The captain Son is on his last legs.
With the fixture list this side of Xmas, doubtful the manager will survive. Very few, if any winnable matches with this bunch of not very good players.
You get what you pay for and levy simply won’t pay the wages to attract the players required
Dragusin is so u suited to anges tactics, I can only presume the stat computer that singled him out was made by Fujitsu
Ok, that’s great Ange, now what are you planning to do about it?
If Tottenham win the Carabao Cup and say beat Arsenal in the final. Will all be forgiven to POS
Can we not just hire a better defence coach? Or is that too simplistic?
Spurs are no winning a cup. Forget that pipe dream.

Yeah as soon as we come against another Galatasaray in the knock out phase it’s done.
Unlucky? If you ship two goals at home to anyone, let alone Ipswich, you're not unlucky. You're stupidly open.

This is a really good point.
What on earth was the data telling us about Dragusin and his suitability to Ange's high line? Jesus, he couldn't look more out of place. One David Pleat in the stands could have told us that. Data is largely bolllllocks to justify spending peanuts on younger players. Bergvall, Odobert, Yang. They're all data lead and given the start Bergvall has made, I'm not sure you can every beat the eye test. In fact Bergvall's performances for his previous club and then us has warned me off getting even remotely excited about Vuskovic. Farmer's leagues are no barometer for Premier League suitability.

Postecoglou says it IS inconsistency...he's paid to know!
As for our players being "bog average" I would say that Son has lost a step but is still a very good player. Dragusin is not good enough, thast was evident yesterday; can he improve? Porro is one of the best wing backs in the league. I don't know where Vicario would rank among Prem GKs. Romero IS a great CB, I know we disagree on that, but you will have ample opportunity to see him playing in the Word Cup in 2026!
Werner is fast and if he could shoot we'd have a very worthwhile player. Johnson is have his ups&downs, was a down yesterday.
I suppose you've changed your mind on your favorite manager? I've always thought he is a one trick pony and couldn't last in the Prem.
But what I would say is this: looking at the Ipswich squad that beat us yesterday, which of their players would you rather have in our squad to replace which of our players?

Bergs just needs loaning out to a mid table (ironic) prem team. Only plays in a make shift Spurs team. Stick him in the middle of the first team with two of Biss/Bents/Sarr and he'd look much better
