Gravy guts is on a one way track to the sack.

Good managerial options are in short supply across Europe so it's a tricky one.

I suspect you'll go for Brendan Rodgers.

Still hurting from Ange

Hurting even more from Rodgers

It's alright, they're not gonna tempt McInnes from under your nose.

Fun to watch him fail after being hailed as the messiah by you lot.

Rodgers going would be funnier. To do what he did again after you lot finally coming round to him would be very on brand for that fake bastirt.

I reckon it would be between

Potter
Frank
McKenna

The job McKenna has done at Ipswich is unbelievable

Ideal candidate would be someone who:

1) Likes to play attacking football
2) Is on an upward trajectory
3) Isn't a Chelsea cast off
4) Has PL experience
5) Has achieved tangible success / knows how to win
6) Is a younger manager
7) Doesn't have a divisive personality / acts with class
8) Has managed and done well with a big club before

Might be more criteria to add but that's what I can think of on the fly.

All but 8 is McKenna

Ex spurs youth player and coach too

Think he deserves a chance at a bigger club

Ange isn’t getting sacked though ….unless we go winless for a few in a row anyway …..could happen but don’t see it

Potter and Frank are obvious candidates. McKenna is a good mention and from everything you hear about him, seems like a great coach for the future.

I know he gets a bad rap but does anyone think Rodgers would be a good choice? Similar style of football to Ange but not as stubborn. The job he did at Leicester I think was pretty underrated and he's done a reasonable to good job wherever he's been.

I hope you don’t go for him but Thomas Frank would be a good fit for Spurs.

I can see it happening as much as not. Lose our next game to City and we could be as low as 13th. Fulham at home next and they have become a top half team currently sitting in 7th on a bit of form, facing a team who will probably have 2 losses in a row. Wouldn't be surprised if they came with a good game plan and took the lead first, then who knows. Bournemouth away after that and we know what our away record is like.

A sacking doesn't look that far away now.

Nobody meets all of this criteria. You’ll have to set your sights a bit lower.

The two lads from weird science would struggle to make a manager with all these points.

posted 1 week, 3 days ago

Btw apart from no.6 Ange fits all the other criteria so might as well stick with him.

posted 1 week, 3 days ago

Be careful what you wish for...Southgate is available. Levy probably would.

posted 1 week, 3 days ago

I honestly believe we will go for Brendan Rodgers. Levy is a huge fan and that usually counts.

Scott Munn anges mate appointed him i suspect he will not get a second chance.

Would expect to see Matty wells in charge from february latest.

Ange cannot turn this round sadly. A championship manager at very best and even there he would struggle.

posted 1 week, 3 days ago

Anyone who doesn’t believe Ange will get sacked, is just in denial

Our form since last seasons fantastic start, has been woeful…

You do not lose at home to Ipswich, unless something is seriously wrong!!

Whether you blame Ange, Levy or the players… the buck stops with the manager… I can see him being sacked by Xmas…We’ve got to play Man City, Liverpool & Chelsea before then…that’s no points out of those

I’m completely disillusioned with it all… the players are gutless!!

I know rarely anyone would meet all of that. The idea is for them to tick as many boxes as possible, with the style of football being the most important point. The last thing we want to do is switch to a different style. No fan wants the football of Jose or Conte again.

Or apart from number 2, which is the big reason we're discussing getting rid of him.

He's a decent manager and even doing ok in Europe this time. Maybe the new format suits him.

Would he be doing a better job than Ange right now? Probably.

posted 1 week, 3 days ago

I think Rodgers is underrated because he’s a bit of a nearly man and a smug, insufferable priiiiick.

posted 1 week, 3 days ago

It’d be interesting to see how he’d do with Spurs. He tends to get his teams starting well and overperforming before running out of steam at the end of the season. That’s typically Spurs, I suppose, but he’s at least managed to win something with Leicester and it could potentially lead CL qualification, depending on how much Spurs can overperform in those good starts his teams have tended to have.
