Mike has been in and out of hospital and was using a walking stick not so long ago. Surely if Jake lands one it’s lights out for Mike. He’s 58. Crazy that he’s still fighting at this age. How much more damage can Tyson take?

You're right. Old fighters can't take punches like when they were younger. But they never forget how to throw them. And the cruiserweight has put on 20 lbs for this fight. Could slow him down. Plus who tf has Jake Paul beaten of any consequence? Or even fought?

on r/boxing the general thought is that Jake will destroy Tyson mainly because of his age. Also the hate for Paul is over the top.

Also the match is listed as proper, with the only difference 2 rounds less and thicker gloves, as Tyson is 58 ffs.

OP trash talking has been tradition of boxing since the first punch was thrown. Why hold that against Paul?

Paul has taken up boxing as a career, the only reason people trash him is because he was a Youtuber before. The guy is quite serious about boxing, I saw the documentary and he ain't even a bad boxer. Every boxer has to build a career, so what are you moaning about?

If he is serious about his "career", then maybe he should consider fighting current established boxers at his weight like everyone else. The guy is not serious as he knows he'd get shown up like Tommy Fury did.

Indeed, I boxed when younger and Jake just grinds my gears, don't like him at all, obvs each to their own but if he is "serious" at boxing try fighting the top boys at his weight and see how that goes?

Wouldn't be surprised mate?

I still have a bit of a soft spot for wrestling cos I can just kinda watch the pantomime and ridiculousness of it all without really caring what happens.

This is worse though cos everyone wants Paul to get his head knocked off but it obviously won't happen so everyone will end up hating him more and then tuning in to the next one in the hope they see his head get knocked off.

That said, if I'm at home when it's on I'll put it on cos it's on a decent time in Canada and I've got the IPTV stick
