Results will decide Ange's fate. An let's be fair, it would be a miracle if he lasted beyond the New Year with Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man United, Roma and Rangers up before Xmas.

Don’t even know who would even replace him, probably be the same names as last time thrown about
posted 9 hours, 5 minutes ago
It's interesting that at a time when supporters, managers and players are questioning the timing and amount of International breaks our lot down tools the week before and seemingly can't wait to get away.
The failure to take anything at home to Ipswich (hot on the heels of the Palace result) is not acceptable and with the fixtures we have coming up Ange is undoubtedly in real trouble.

Alonso will be at Real next season according to so called experts.
If that happens then Don Carlo would be available and Daniel may revert to a serial trophy winner as he has done before.
Ilm hoping Ange stays and we get better as the season progresses.
As for the four players named in the report I suggest they start performing better and put their dummies back in.

I want Ange to turn things around but he's running out of time. He really needs to have a good period after the int. break. I dunno if the report about the players is true but things like this tend to happen when clubs struggle.
Real does seem likely for Alonso but you never know what Alonso wants right now. He might see that as a club for the future and wants a gig in the PL at a lower profile club instead. As Brother says, I don't think it's out of the realms of possibility that we could get him.

Trouble these days is fans act like spoiled brats if the team isn't winning every week.
I understand why there were fans booing at the H T and FT whistle last week after the loss against Ipswich but most fans in the stadium were fully behind the team when we were 1-0 and 2-0 down.
I get the frustration but we can't keep changing managers because it takes time to rebuild a club.
The players were good enough to smash Villa a week before and should have put in a better performance against Villa.
A win last week would have put us 3rd in the table and that's mad.
Vic needs to get better at handling set pieces and pressure.
Udog needs to stop crosses coming in
Bents has caused himself to be banned.
Romero has been guilty of being out of position which have meant goals against us.
It's time for Ange and the players to be better and let's hope that happens.

Ultimately whatever the players do, it's still under the authority of the manager and it's his responsibility to get more out of them or find ways to get more out of the team. And it is a good enough team IMO. Definitely good enough to not lose to Ipswich or Palace.
All managers need time as long as they are showing us some form of progress. A season and a chunk in, with lots of money spent, I'm not seeing it. Been a lack of consistency since at least February.

There were times where you could argue Levy would have let go of Arteta had he been at Spurs. But he did have an FA Cup win in the season he took over, so he had that in the bank, and the points tally went up each season as well going from 8th to 5th, so there was some progress being shown.
Not sure Ange is going to finish as high as last season or get as many points and he's spent more than Arteta in that time frame too. He'd have to do seriously well in the cups if he can't do it in the league.
