Difficult to say if its good or bad for Wrexham really as if they're paying a fortune with the risk of him being injured, then no, but if he could keep fit and they don't pay over the odds then why not, he'd do really well.

personally, I cant see him signing for anybody actually, I can see him retiring soon and going into punditry

He has a contract until 2026 - Objectively, standing back, would you as L1 one club, spend £50K + for an injury prone 31 year old player?

Aaronson has contributed plenty this season. Bamford hasn't. Bamford going to Wrexham would be an early Christmas present as he's taking up someone else's spot who could contribute.

I couldn't care less whether it's good for Wrexham or not, but it would definitely be good news for us.

The rumour has come from AI.

Arronnson, played well this season, got four goals too.

It came from a friend, but as I said it is just a rumour.

Can't really say how my friend knows without potentially dropping him in it. He's not normally the kind of guy to say things that don't have some weight behind them though, so thought it worth passing on.

PS - apologies if it turns out to be a load of bull twaddle in the long run!

But, to save it being a one star, for me it’s an interesting debate if bamford could either stay fit, would playing for Wrexham suit him, or would he make a decent pundit

Dennis, a little story from the real world of the spanish italians, about 4 years ago we had an IT crash where I work, was awful, all system shut down, a million new process's to follow ref security, all sorts..

at the pool table in our lunch room me and few of the lads were mucking around with the IT guys 'you not fancy any norton anti virus' sort of thing.. one of them, known as a serial complainer, complained. course he did, anyway, I'm stood there in HR telling the gaffa what happened, he was listening, trying his best not laugh

anyway, all forgotten about, or nearly, you see now.. nobody can joke around with him in fear of him crying to the gaffa's, so he's now in this awful position where he can't possibly joke with anybody, and nobody will joke with him..

don't be Matt from IT Dennis, thats all I'm saying, even now I feel I can't ever joke about the Southampton keeper with you, because you filtered me over it - but it could be a good platform to bond... I STILL to this day rip Light for his 'must wins' in August, we've bonded and JA freinds.... 'ooooooh 606 fweeendds'

One more win in August last year and we would be in the PL now.

To be fair, I like the reasoning behind the 2* rating. Sounds very sensible.

Felt it was a decent idea to mention the rumour even though it's got no real evidence I can point to as I found it interesting and thought others might too.
