Don't really believe they're innocent but imagine they'll get away with cos it'll be impossible to prove.

I'm sure some people will talk about the integrity of the league being a mess but I think realistically most people expect nothing to happen except for a fine for refusing to co-operate with the investigation so I don't think there'll really be any aftermath.

This coming from a fan-base that believes VAR is against you; then PL refs are against you and that European refs are better; then subsequently European refs are against you when you lost to Inter; then it's the PL computer that's against you giving you the WORST fixtures in the history of humankind.

I'm just waiting for some conspiracy that the official balls were hacked to show it never crossed the line.

What's a fan base?

I don't have any of the opinions and I honestly haven't seen most of those things mentioned in any meaningful capacity by Arsenal fans, apart from the fact that refs are rubbish and inconsistent.

If you wanna make stuff up to deflect from the conversation at hand feel free. Arguably feels very on brand for a fan of City.

it is a solid foundation where a ventilation appliance can be supported to provide some role-play in oxygenating Salford Rangers supporters in their 11 years of "concern".

I'm sure it has, every club has idiots like that, with you proving that City is just as guilty as any other club for it.

Not sure any City fans have given as much conspiracy theories as Arsenal fans on this, or any other platforms to be honest.

Granted, I must concede that I have no proof that you have engaged in the same. I shall take you as a sensible fan.

The PL made the charges, surely they have the evidence to back it up?

If they haven't, then they've just spunked £100m in legal fees up the wall with the other 19 clubs picking up the tab.

I mean everyone has them and it gets worse the more successful you become cos you get a load more glory hunters or fair weather fans piping up. Ours is unreasonable for the amount we've won in recent years but you guys are getting pretty close with the Fifa generations of young fans coming through that don't know anything about the sport but love using you on the game

can you clarify this? Are you saying that the accuser does not have to prove the charges against the plaintiff?

Not what I'm saying, just saying that there's often situations where lack of sufficient evidence means no punishment. The PL may have brought the charges thinking they have enough evidence but made a mistake or been outmaneuvered by your lawyers.

Innocent vs not guilty.

I see. However, there seems to be a strong correlation between what we had to fight with against UEFA and now. The EPL's charges are relatively the same.

I get your argument but imagine the CPS going full ham on charges without sufficient evidence despite having a roadmap to fill in the gaps that UEFA had?

Surely without sufficient evidence though they still have an obligation to try and hold people to account though? Even in terms of people being cleared it still needs to go through a certain process for that to be able to happen.

I won't lie, I obviously don't know the ins and outs of the legal system and have a very rudimentary level of understanding

I pretty sure they are as guilty as can be....I've seen some documents on a investigative programme into this and one document had the figures printed out then altered...the narrator was explaining and it's a dodgy as can be.

Exactly right.

Where the PL are not constrained by the statute of limitations and will also have a lower burden of proof - Balance of probabilities vs Beyond a reasonable doubt, they HAVE to investigate this properly and charge the club, especially with the threat of Independent Regulator hanging over the PL

With this logic, every lawsuit/charges end up with a guilty verdict
