Need to get rid. He spends more time playing for Argentina than Spurs. Plus he has been very poor this season. He wouldn't be missed.

He would be missed if we replaced him with an inferior player, which we almost definitely would do.

I kinda understand that you're not keen on him Sandy, fair play you watch WAY more of Spurs than I but I think he's a good DC, has a few problems but if he was sold I feel he'd be a popular buy for some clubs?

He was carrying an injury against Ipswich, but still went on international duty.
I would get rid personally, but he may be better under the new incoming manager.

Hello mate, he started off well at Spurs, but his form has seriously deteriorated this season. And he is painfully slow at transitioning the ball from the back.
I definitely think Spurs could get just as good, if not better, and they need a CB that is actually available. Not one that seems to get a lot of injuries.

Yeh that was ridiculous the club even letting him go to South America. 10 England players pulled out of the England squad, they will all no doubt miraculously recover and be playing this week. Spurs need to be much more savvy with their International players going to all corners of the globe, then don't play for Spurs when they return.

Fair comment I do hate when players are constantly out with injuries and wonder if is simply bad luck or they just get them easily? I stand down if I'm wrong but the only issue would be would you replace him with better? To be fair you'd get a good fre for him

I love Romero, but if we're gonna stick with Ange next season then I think we need to get another CB that's quick.

Spurs played so much better today without Romero bringing the ball out at snail's pace. Same team for Fulham please. Micky back for Davies when fit. Bench Romero.

Usual Sandy rubbish.
Romero must have been injured prior to Argentina's second match. Toe problem.

Well, lets bench Romero and play today's team....and see what happens!
We were damned lucky to be 0-2 up at half-time.
This was a match that could have gone either way by the half. Gotta say Davies played well, at did Dragusin.
And your favourite Goal-keeper.
And Kulusevski was all over the field.

Spurs were not lucky at all. They had plenty of chances themselves to be more than 2-0 up at halftime.
Even a thumping 4-0 win, and Ted has to be negative.
None of us other than Brother and maybe Chronuc thought it would by anything but a big City win. But Spurs did the business, so let's praise them. They deserve it for yesterday's efforts.
Ted of course will be waiting to pounce at the next poor result.
