If Gundo plays in midfield, then Pep better have a solution for his lack of speed. Otherwise, you lot will leave him for dead.
If Walker plays, then he'd better not give himself an in game challenge of letting his man have a sprinting head start.

Be interested to see what pep does here. KDB, Gundogan, Walker, Foden, B Silva have "normally" been the guys that have hurt us before, I wouldn't say ANY of them are playing well this time.
If city have a MF of KDB, Gungodan and Silva I wonder if the pace of this game will be too much...or, because it's a big game will they come back to form(?).

Thiago was just a big a miss as Rodri.
How long was he missing for?
I’m not it is that big, I fully expect Liverpool to win the title from here and I am not at all convinced that City finish second. This version of City looks finished to me, Walkers legs have gone, KDB is not the same player, Gundogan can’t fill the Rodri gap, Rico Lewis is the Man City Harry Winks. They can’t defend properly and they are ponderous on the ball.
We’ve beaten them twice in this 5 game run and they have been poo, especially Saturday where they couldn’t score past a defence missing its 2 best defenders. We played 2 number 10’s against them and controlled the game.
I expect Liverpool to win easy and I expect Liverpool to have a similar season to when they last won the league where the gap just keeps getting bigger until it about 20 points and then you taper off a bit but win comfortably.
Arsenal won’t catch you, they’ve been unconvincing this season - I think Chelsea might come second at this rate, they have found some decent form with Maresca
Can't see you bottling the league from here unfortunately. Would be like Spurs finishing 3rd in a two horse race back when Leicester won it.

When is the last time Liverpool won a title legitimately?
It isn't Rodri missing that is the problem.
City are 11th on the net spend table for the last 5 years (we are 7th). Does this have anything to so with the 115 charges? Maybe.
Add to that the aging players like KDB, Walker, Gundo etc. with no real replacements, it does seem maybe they are preparing to have some serious restrictions placed on them, or even preparing for the worst going down.
The biggest thing IMO is that Klopp is now gone. Pep has said on many an occasion that he is the biggest rival ever and drives him on to do better. Losing something like that added to the other things above is a huge factor. Probably the biggest.
