& Parkers coat was too short, but dont think it really affected the game.

Probably cost £2,000, so it doesn't matter

I see that the fourth official was Jason Bourne
Well that should quieten the PW knockers for a bit. What a fine and resilient performance with all playing their part in a superb defensive shut-out! OK so we only created three real openings but we were much more positive in our approach.
It was clear that our WBs were instructed to play like FBs who rarely got forward apart from two promising forays from Elder. Yates came close to scoring, Thommo had a dipping effort worry their keeper and best of all was Harness' cut inside and low hard drive which curled just outside the post.
JWZ had only one shot to save but made some important blocks. The back three were immense with Cash superb and rightly winning MOM. Midfield worked tirelessly as did Daj and Yates and the only slight disappointment was the lack of support for those two up top.
We could have won that but it has to be said that a draw was a fair result as Burnley pressed for most of the game.

"I swear to God, if I even feel somebody behind me, there is no measure to how fast and how hard I will bring this fight to your doorstep. I'm on my own side now".
Cashin was immense, no complaints from me
Same starting 11 for me on Fri, as long as theyre all up to it. Maybe Wilson in for Ward.
There's a player in Harness too. Would Warne start him instead of Yates?
I like him, Scouse, but as Malcolm C said on RD, 2 strikers helps us play further up the pitch.
I'd play him as a striker
I was delighted with that performance. It’s only a 0-0 but we restricted a team with lots of good players to very few chances and we might easily have nicked it. I thought Cashin and Nelson were both outstanding. Tommo ran his socks off and Kenzo showed flashes of skill. Brown started really well. I thought Yates struggled throughout and was surprised he stayed on as long as he did. I was hopeful that when Jackson came on that his pace might get us in behind their back line but he did very little in that regard. Wilson looked strangely tired to me when he came on. Harness again showed there is potential there if we can make the best use of it.
We were still a bit wasteful in our use of the ball and with a bit more composure we might have had the perfect smash and grab. Late on Cash pulled up holding his hamstring but shortly afterwards he gave the bench a thumbs up so hopefully it was just a touch of cramp.
A big boost after Saturday but we need a win this Friday.
Desperately need a minimum of 7 points from the next three matches before we face Leeds again.
