Fantastic win yesterday and always great to get one over the massives but we are a million miles away from being 'awakened'.
So much work to do with this squad and we've got plenty of bad days to come as yet.

Didn't think we played well but we showed great industry against a struggling team (which frankly should be a bare minimum that we rarely hit under Ten Hag), and Amad was different class to everyone else. Took his chances when they came.

We played very well. Not sure what game you watched. We passed City off the pitch and dominated them in possession.

Still the number 1 club in world football.
Also in Klopp's first season you had similar results/performances to us yesterday and your league position didn't necessarily reflect it, but you could see Liverpool had a top manager and were only going on an upward trajectory.
That game against Norwich was one, plus that Dortmund win.
We are back. Just wait till we go to Anfield. I fancy us to spank you there as you are often poor for long periods in games.

At one point we had 58% possession and City were hanging on. The reason it evened out like that is because we sat back for the last 5 to secure the win.

Yeah exactly. Pipe down. You lot aren't winning the title.

I don't mind Boris personally. Obviously we have a lot of debates over City being the biggest cheats in football but he's a proper fan, goes watching the team he loves and was there in the dark days on the Kippax.
The banter is what we come here for too. Without it this place wouldn't survive.
The bin dippers on this forum are far worse than any of the City boys.

Yeh fair point about Boris, proper fan and he does get very defensive about City and the associated issues but what fan of any club wouldn't defend them?
Had some decent back and forth craic on other issues with him, each to their own however

I thought we played pretty well, as we did in the first half against Arsenal.
In both games we saw far more control against sides a level above us, gave away few chances in open play but did struggle to create anything ourselves.
I'm encouraged by all of our performances under RA, there's a lot of work to be done but the signs are nothing but positive for me.
Sooner we get rid of zonal marking, the better. 42% of our goals conceded are from set pieces, that's an easy fix.

What a load of shiiit. A lucky win against a team in free fall and we are ‘awakened’? Might want to wait a bit before spouting claims like that
