Think we'll go full strength so Porro & Udogie if fit.
Sarr & Biss.
I hope we have Deki & Madders again, BJ benched.

Bergvall does not look any better than Winks, I just no I will be proved right in the long run on this one - he is an all rounder that excels at nothing - Winks in a nut shell. I remember Winks bossing Real Madrid at Wembley - Bergvall will have a smattering of great games as well.
Archie Gray will be a stalwart Prem player. Reminds me of Gareth Barry/James Milner. He won’t be spectacular but will play at the highest level his whole career, England international and be a Mr Reliable - I love watching him play, he makes it look so easy.
Spence seems to have turned his career around - the pennys dropped in terms of attitude and work rate. Brilliant to see because he has loads to offer and I genuinely believe he can oust Porro as he is defensively better whilst maintaining an attacking threat.
We need a big night against United and then a bit of luck with the draw.

I just call it how I see it. I’ve nothing against the lad but he doesn’t have anything that makes me think wow. Archie Gray on the other hand has supernatural composure for a player so young, quick feet and is tenacious. Before that Rangers game, Gray had recovered possession more times than any other player in the Europa league this season - the kid just has it at this level.
Mikey Moore lacks consistency, but the way he was going past players against AZ, you can just tell he will go up further levels and that consistency will come in time.
All Bergvall does is look tidy in possession and has a bit of tenacity about him, he is a blend of Winks and Skipp. People are taking that harshly, but Winks played a CL final with us. Skipp had loads of games for us and both are still in the Prem - it’s not the huge insult it’s being made out to be

Saw your comment about Archie G the other day and again now. Won't be spectacular but will play at the highest level. I've watched him for 2 seasons, so good wherever he's put on the park. Developed as a midfielder primarily I recall, but used as a RB in his time with us (due to injuries initially - but then he owned it!).
Used as a CB at Spurs, but I wonder if he'll ever get a chance in a more midfield role? The lad has so much potential.

Winks didnt even make his PL debut for us until aged 20. You never saw him play aged 18 so you cannot compare their development paths.
Skipp has also been far more limited. A worker, not a baller. Bergvall already looks far mroe comfortable on the ball.
Now if you had compared to Tom Carroll, then i would agree that there is a big difference between being neat and tidy like TC was and then developing into someone far more effective like Odegaard

I think that CM is a very difficult role to step into at this level, especially at 6 and especially for a player who likes to take a risk on the ball. We saw the other day a couple dribbles from CB that lead to the ball given away and that is usually very costly if done in the middle of the park.
My hope is that hes getting all this game time as great experience while doing a job for the team, bulking up a bit, but will then be trusted a bit more in CM from next season.

He will in the future definitely but it’s all a bit early at the moment. The guy is getting regular Prem and Euro minutes with us though, regardless of where you are playing, that is some accomplishment at 18. The biggest positive I can say about him is that I never worry about him, wherever Ange puts him. The footballing intelligence is off the charts and he is light years ahead of most players his age.
He will get a chance in midfield soon enough

I also said Archie Gray reminds me of Gareth Barry and in fairness I’ve not seen Archie Gray at 34 yet either. 18 year old Bergvall reminds me of a hybrid Winks and Skipp - pick whatever age range you want for them.
I will categorically go on record now and say that Bergvall will only ever be as good as those 2 or worse. Feel free to pelt me if I am ever proven wrong. I will of course reciprocate when he is sold to Rennes/Stuttgart 4 years from now after never really tying down a first team position

Nothing is certain. Liverpool have just drawn their last two Prem games. They also sneaked past Southampton 3-2. Wouldn't surprise me if Spurs beat Liverpool. The Prem this season is poor. That's why it is so bunched up from 13th upwards. Very few teams, if any, are putting together winning runs.

Do you lot never ever learn? Got to beat United first which won't be as easy as last time you faced us was under a lame duck manager in ETH.

So after one Ptem start, you are calling juxgem6on an 18 year old. Personally I think he already looks a level above Winks, with plenty of time for further improvement.

Shandy, I think you might have had a stroke during typing this response, I don’t understand what you are saying here - either that or you are poorly imitating 4za

Bit of luck with the draw!!! Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle all liable to make the semis. You are amusing Strike.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As usual, you miss the point Shandy
I would take Newcastle and then Arsenal. Liverpool is basically a write off, even if we got a great result at home, we will crumble at Anfield. Newcastle is very winnable and Arsenal will be close either way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Missing the point!!! Three teams that routinely beat Spurs, and you are asking for a bit of luck in the draw. You are hilarious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle don’t regularly beat us at home and are below us in the league.
But it’s your article Shandy so you are allowed to live in your make believe world, so enjoy the Unicorns and flying pigs and I will catch you up some other time

If we have a largely fit squad then I'd be hopeful vs anyone over 2 legs. Would rather play LFC over 2 legs than a one off final
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would rather avoid Liverpool full stop. I imagine Arne will want an early trophy under his belt to build on and think he will go full strength.
We’re not the same level as them - we’re not even close. They will pump us Sunday
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing is certain.

But they beat us routinely remember - you just said so

To be fair that was probably Spurs easiest win of the season. United are under a new manager agreed. But United don't look great right now. They stole the match at the weekend.

I would take Newcastle and then Arsenal. Liverpool is basically a write off, even if we got a great result at home, we will crumble at Anfield. Newcastle is very winnable and Arsenal will be close either way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If we have a largely fit squad then I'd be hopeful vs anyone over 2 legs.

I think it's very harsh to come to such a conclusion on an 18 year old Bergvall playing his first season in the PL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just call it how I see it.
Skipp had loads of games for us and both are still in the Prem - it’s not the huge insult it’s being made out to be
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Winks didnt even make his PL debut for us until aged 20.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I also said Archie Gray reminds me of Gareth Barry and in fairness I’ve not seen Archie Gray at 34 yet either.
