Left that school, was getting no support from the department as a newly qualified teacher trying to pass this year (if I fail I can never be a teacher ), few resources to work with and no schemes to follow as standard, and the school itself is one of the most challenging to work in in London in terms of behaviour.

So overall, it wasn't great Looks like I will be getting a job till Easter in a girls' school though, so it's looking better than it did a couple of weeks ago! If it goes well I could get a job there permanently, so fingers crossed. Also 20 mins away as opposed to 2 hours...

That's shocking that if you fail you can never be a teacher - where's the sense in that? Anyways, girl's school I'm sure you'll have a much better time there

I'm good thanks, apart from our 5-a-side time playing absolute carp last night - 3-0 defeat to the average team in the league

I luffs me cricket. Haven't played in over a year though. Far too inconsistent as I don't play regularly, but it's fun all the same. Nothing like clean bowling a player out or making a great catch.
