I can almost guarantee that for that orbison cover cowell would be bringing out the little glances and nods during the performance, give it the stnading ovation, and then speak last and say "carly, let me tell you, ive done a lot of these shows now, and this is what we do this for, that was WORLD class"
Instead, you get Paula Abdul who says "Carly, you are our dependable dog"

Just watched a video they did called "bury me alive".
they look well rough. she is an amazing vocalist though.
that was really the only american idol series ive watched, and i reckon it may well have been the best, but top 6 ? dont make me laugh.
to be honest carly, ive now watched the whole of that video, and i think your going in the wrong direction there.
if you are reading this, i recommend you get back in touch with lloyd webber and take it from there
