Basically given up on supermarket chicken now. It is literally dinner roulette. Whatever they have done to it in recent years gives you a 30 percent chance of your dinner being ruined. It gets striated and rubbery, I assume from being filled with water. For an extra three or so quid,I get chicken from butchers.

It's brutal. Few times I've binned my entire dinner cause of it. Will buy Quorn for fajitas instead, if butchers is closed.
