The issue as I saw it was people indulging and normalizing his behaviour and irrational thoughts, when if that was a real-life friend you would hopefully intervene or at least give them honest advice.

You tried your best Admin. Though it probably isn't your responsibility to help at all. I like to think that I tried to help by 'listening' without condoning some of the more outlandish comments.

There certainly is value in the idea that what we perceive as normal isn't necessarily 'right'.

Mocking him is one thing, but laughing along as if his paranoia and delusions are real is definitely not ok in my opinion.

He needs to live his own life, sure, but he's obviously not well. Those claiming to be his 'friends' while not trying to help him at least realise that, are part of the problem.

Zach I wasn't being condescending or anything. But appreciating something is untoward or abnormal doesn't raise the same alarm bells as saying X or Y freaky thing is all good. I'd say regular use of sx workers is an issue irrespective of everything else.
