Not having that. That might’ve been his worst season but he was still making worldies and imo was probably the best GK of the 90s with Kahn.

Terry the battering ram bigheaded c*nt of a human needed a bit of finesse in his partner, Carvalho his perfect companion.

Probably the same with Giggs as well, can’t remember 90s wingers as well but he wasn’t better than Figo or Nedved

Yup, his maiden season in the CL was a monster

Del Piero was one of my favourite ever players. Even bought a Italian shirt with his name on it

Fiorentina fans made a statue of him then that summer he left for Roma and they tore it down

Serie A in the 90s was incredible. So many good players, characters and so many villains. AC Milan chairman was Berlusconi, had the villains like Moggi (sp) etc that started Caltropoli

There was a point in the 00s where there was more wire taps in Italy than the USA and the rest of Europe put together or something so much scandal and paid off referees

Back to Batistuta, they were on course to finally win a trophy, which would have been in the 99 season (Serie A) Batistuta gets injured and their other awesome striker Edmundo instead of stepping up goes to the Rio Carnival
