What's your view on the protest in relation to the spread of Covid-19? Between the protest and everyone flocking to the beaches etc, has everyone come to a decision that herd immunity is the way forward? Interestingly our governments initial approach to dealing with the virus.

Lawful protests are a key part of democracy and this one is supported by the police.

However they chose to protest is all good.

Focus on WHY they are protesting, not how.

Sorry but HOW must be brought into the equation ere. Social distancing still applies. There is no reason why groups of 4-6 folk can not protest whilst keeping 2m difference from another 4-6 folk.

I am all for these protests do not get me wrong

I am also not a fascist!!!! I hope a mate of mine (YOU) who I have known for over five years knows this and understands what I was talking about yesterday.

Here we go. Surprise surprise, Sizzle is for large crowds gathering in “protest “ during a pandemic incredible, no shame whatsoever. I didn’t see protesting today, I saw a bunch of thugs attacking our police officers in London. Utter disgrace and none of them give a flying f** about this poor Floyd fella in America.

That's obviously not true.

Beyond that, though, I think what we're seeing is the result of lots of people feeling angry and disenfranchised with the powers that be. Conservative/Republican governments that don't give a chit about them. Mass protests were kind of inevitable really, it was just a matter of what was going to trigger it.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying there's no one causing trouble. With that many people grouped together it's inevitable.

Context is important. I went to the austerity measures protest years back to see for myself. All the headlines were about the vandalism etc. but there was like 50 arrests from almost half a million protestors. Less than they had after an Old Firm game that year.

Christ, look what the cats sicked up.

Wouldn’t expect anything less from a ignorant racist sh*t like dozy Donald (so similar to his namesake the fascist tangerine in the White House)

So here’s the thing, we don’t need this whitesplaining to us, and more importantly we don’t need YOUR f*cking permission to take to the streets.

So sit down, shut up and wait for your BNP Zoom meeting to start you toxic rodent.

Yea definitely like America there will always be some who are there only to cause trouble.

I don’t get why they’d go out there way to vandalise the cenotaph though.

Meh, it’s just Don, he thinks the black folk are getting a little uppity and wishes they would just move to the back of the bus like in the good old days.
