she's facing me. as he talks, her mouth drops open in disbelief.

While winding you up about this was all more amusing before I became older and a dad and all that. It’s about a million miles away from being fun now.

J, there is 60+ million people in the U.K.; about 2.5million students. The likelihood of me and you having one mutual connection is unlikely let alone two. If we ever met in real life I’d happily let you go through my Facebook/Insta/Twitter contacts but the reality is none of your theories regarding me or whatever else was/were true.

I’d also graduated by 2014 - by 2015 I was bored applying for every job under the sun and stacking facking meat and milk shelves in Tesco

spotted dog in lyon. staying there a couple of days at the end of my ski trip.

it's quiz night. every tuesday they have a quiz.

i sit at the bar on my own. shortly before it starts i realise there's a girl sat next to me on HER own.

she's half french half russian. student in lyon.

i'm ok to tell you but.

i'll cut it short. it's pointless anyway.

in a nutshell, me and the bird get on like a house on fire. on one fga break outside im pretty much 100% i could have gone in for a kiss.

i can see how people are going to see this, but i did used to cop off with a fair few birds so..

anyway.

we're having a great laugh. been at it for about 2 hours i guess.

i go to the toilet. come back and she's suddenly different. cooling everything right down. i'm like wtf just happened ? end of the night we go outside and she is PETRIFIED, and basically runs off. not joking run off. she is not a happy bunny. never see her again.

the next night...

the next night i go back to the bar. there's no quiz tonight so the place is almost empty. i sit at the bar and have a guinness. i think they've got a one man band in or something but the few people that are in there aren't paying any attention. maybe there was no band actually.

anyway...

i'm sat at the bar. i turn round, and there's these 2 birds sat there. from memory one's about 23, one's maybe 30 or something.

i say hi. they say hi. i ask if i can sit down.

now you have to udnerstand, that i'm a reasonable looking guy, and when i'm on reasonable form im can be fairly charming and entertaining.

we get into some banter pretty quickly.

turns out these 2 girls are sisters, and from lebanon of all places, where as it happens i'd spent a month the previous summer.

the younger sister's at uni in lyon and the big sister's come to visit for a few days.

we have a pint together. it's getting a bit flirty. i'm angling towards the older girl and the younger one's alright with it. we're talking about going to another bar. 100% the intention was for us to go together and look for somewhere a bit more lively. you can feel the warmth beginning to warm the cokcles on either side of the table already by this point, and it's banter o'clock.
