that 14/15 tally is a little misleading Edin
We won the title at Palace on matchday 35
The run we were on up to and including that game was 6 wins out of 7
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough
Players clearly couldnt care after we won it because they lost to West Brom 3-0
Thing with Jose is he is so pragmatic that you can’t really trend his past managerial stints as they differ so much. Only thing they have in common is they win trophies and the last three have ended in serious tears

Yeah I think it's fair to say he's not your average football manager. Maybe I'm deluded but I do think his demeanor around the club has been different than it was before, especially with United, he never looked happy.

He talked a lot about being happy the 2nd time round with us. He looked it too for a while. Then it went a bit south
He might like the comparative lack of pressure at Spurs (no offence, not meant as a dig but more is expected at Chelsea from above with Roman pumping his money in and the expectations at Utd are probably the highest in the country)
Fair dos Blarmy. I think the whole 'living in a hotel' thing while he was in Manchester can't have helped either.
Spurs is probably the first job since Porto hes taken where he hasnt been expected to win a title
What he did at United was actually fantastic.
Looks like he was right with his stance on Pogba.
He basically needs to feel loved and no1. He’s needy. At the moment at Spurs, he feels this - so all is good.
When he doesn’t feel the love the problems may occur.
Levy is a proper fangirl though so this may not happen
Jose is bringing on kane and son while we lead EL group stages games. The schedule is ridiculous more than ever this season, we have already played 20.odd games, Kane, Son & Hojbjerg are human, the former has record for getting injured at some point in the season. Little tweaks to the side game on game, rather than full or no rotation and giving players minutes needlessly off the bench.
I can guarantee Kane will feature against Marine at some point, and start the Stoke game(which i wouldn't be against tbf but the team does need to be tweaked a little over the festive period.)

He was publicly needy with our fan base, after leaving, despite having been responsible for 15/16
I dont think he was even booed that much by our fans until he started actually whinging about the treatment he was getting from a stupid few
I can’t remember the name of the agent, but I read a book by one of the super agents and he said that players want their ‘play bonus’, so managers giving them time in meaningless games makes a huge difference for morale.

who do you reckon's better out of him and fat frank ?
I loved Conte and Carlo both more cause of vibe or whatever I dunno. RDM too cause it was emotional.
But obviously Jose is the best manager to manage us...
What does he want exactly? Our fans to sing 'Simply the Best' by Tina Turner to him every time he brings a rival team to the Bridge? Fack off
The fact of adapting for a different game or adapting mid game seems a weakness.
I do like the low/mid block for most games tbf but would.like to see when we get the ball back from the opposition for us to actually keep it a bit longer not giving it straight away. Passing and 'good' football we are capable of but has become a plan B which we struggle to commit to for sustained periods.
TBF he’s been in charge just over a year and he’s top of the league. Poch finished 6th his first full season and we weren’t playing the good stuff poch is remembered for.
Franks still below Ranieri at the moment in my list of Chelsea managers
Thats not that high

A weakness? Relative to who? I think he's been very good with it. Certainly he's not shy about changing things up if it's not working. We have a clear plan for each opposition we play. Bergwijn shutting down Saka, for example.
We've had some great managers J (and some sheite)
One top 4 finish and and losing a cup final gets him above Scolari maybe but not managers that have won things or in Ranieri's case managed better league campaigns
just remembered that clip in the Amazon doc where they're having a board meeting and the marketing/communications director asks why Daniel doesn't like the idea of playing behind closed doors

shouldn't say this but I quite like Lampard. Think he seems a decent bloke. Also for such an inexperienced manager I think he's doing alright. A lot of people thought top 6 would be a result for Chelsea at the start of last season iirc.
