Part of the interest for me is apparently he has the evidence (email/WhatsApp) to support it. If all this is true imagine what it will do for British voting intentions!.... Con 47(+2)

This is the issue. Even if this gets enough media attention (early signs are good) that the public are forced to sit up and take notice... The swathes of people who still vote Tory will see this as yet more bickering among out-of-touch MPs.

That thought process will take them directly to "This is just like when Labour were in-fighting the other week." Which will take them directly to "Gawd, imagine how much worse it would've been under Corbyn!"

And the whole thing will fizzle out with CON taking maybe a 3-point hit. It doesn't help that Cummings is one of the only people viewed as even less trustworthy than BoJo.

I truly hope I'm wrong, but I don't see this making a blind bit of difference to voting intentions.
