Look at Brighton or Southampton. Both trying to play more fashionable possession/pressing football with limited resources. Crap results
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Someone could lend Brighton and clinical striker just to see what it would look like
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't most of the teams in the bottom half need the same?

Bielsa is a phenomenon. Still I'm curious to see how they get on next season

Southampton performed over xG all season, but yeah the teams that were statistical anomalies for underperforming xG all came in the bottom 5 teams. (except us, )

Does that mean Hassenhuttl is an even worse manager than results suggest?

It wasnt by much, but their problems arent comparable to Brighton for me
Southampton were really terrible last season
Hassenhutl is a big question mark for me, he isn't the slam dunk that potter is.
I wouldn't say it's the same problem at all, but I think it's the same root cause. Sticking dogmatically to a certain style is nice (if you as a fan like that style) and will get results consistently if you've got an advantage on the field, but if you don't you have to play smart.
Outperforming your resources and getting results is the name of the game. While the football under Nuno might not be fashionable if we'd looked at him last summer the results could have been easily compared to Poch at Saints when we hired him
Hassenhuttl relies too much on pressing
Interested to see how Farke does this time around
Admirable he didnt bail out of Norwich and now he's won the Championship twice
What about the ex Dortmund manager that just turned down Palace? Favre is it? I wonder why we're not looking at him

He turned down Palace for reasons you wouldnt be able to help him with it seems. He's older and fairly happy to find something in Germany where he doesnt have to learn English and move
He said he had no interest in managing in turkey either
Ah fair enough. Seems like it's Nuno or Martinez then

England: slow
Can tell that by watching most of the games in the tournament so far, the England games feel like time has slowed down
"Conserving energy" innit
You won't be laughing when we win it
sorry. Though we could well get to the final
