It’s not 5 though is it. He’s averaged around 20 goals a season for us.

Yeah thats true, but I think the 20 goals a season was in systems when we relied on him to contribute a high % of our team goals and that isn't what we need from Conte.

Conte's teams always have had the goals shared around + with our new found set piece brilliance we rely on individual goalscorers less and less.

If Son didnt exist I think in our system we'd have in the league 15+ combined from Richy/Kulu. 20+ from Kane. 8+ from midfielders. 8+ from wingbacks. 6+ from CB's. Then probably 10+ from the bench. Maddison would give us 8+.

That'd be 75 minimum in that list.

If Jose was our manager, or even if Poch was our manager I think we need Son's goals. Under Conte I am not worried.

No because I think Bergwijn was finished at our club and needed the move.

I’m also not sure he’ll ever make it at a top club in a top league

But if he had come in as a new player - I think he definitely would. Would contribute much more in build-up and Son hasn't really provided anything in terms of goals.
