Even if Slot flops I don't see Liverpool outside the top 5. They've got a good squad already and will spend sooner or later

Yeah they’ll spend but you see how much changing a long term manager makes a difference and their best players are on the worst side of their careers

I got a lot of stick from Liverpools the other day for being surprised that Zubimendi would choose them over Arsenal.

My main argument is that Liverpool are basically an unknown quantity this season whereas we're pretty steady, but that got laughed at.

They could be great but I wouldn't be shocked to see them slip out of the CL spaces.

Liverpool’s squad is too strong to not get top 4 imo. Slot would have to have an absolute disaster

Yeah I admit it’s a bit of a take but TAA had a very specified role tailored under Klopp for example interesting if it continues under Slot

Well I think we've moved onto Merino after being told no by Zubi pretty comprehensively in the past. Merino makes a bit more sense for us now seeing as we've got Nwaneri coming through and can't seem to shift Partey.

Just surprised he'd go for this Liverpool project over us a year ago, as I'm with you in that I don't really know what to expect with Liverpool. Replacing Klopp is huge - i personally think he had that squad overperforming too. It can take foreign managers a while to get their head around the league and the media, plus Salah and VVD are hitting the years where they could drop off at any point.

Neto got a 7 year deal at Chelsea. With his injury record no wonder he jumped at the chance to go there.
