Like signing young players like 1 a window maybe but a bergvall, the gray type signing may end up great but unless it’s for a bargain price like the likes of eze, lose, Bowen etc were feels like a lot of expectation especially at a more established club, may get minutes in cups heee and there but not sure he’s gonna get the minutes in the league, him or bergvall tbh, to prove they were worth it and can again kick on next year

Going back to the formation chat do you think it would make a difference if we played with 3 back in build up like city etc do, feels the midfield is just overpopulated and teams are happy for it to go out to our meh wingers for nothing to happen

Back three to just to accommadate two full backs who can be easily nullified. No thanks.

Not sure about "accommodating" the full backs. They're not a problem in the current setup. The problem at the minute is relying on a bunch of wide forwards who are all a bit naff. Playing a front two gets Son in more dangerous areas without needing him to be a target man (which he's sheit at) and also gets Johnson out of the facking team

sign another CB/FB, CM and Eze

sell Son and Richarlison to saudi

People may disagree, and I don't know how to judge Solanke yet so leaving him out the equation (and Richy for being a crock), if I look at every attacker in the forward line definitely better than ours:

Arsenal: Saka*, Sterling, who knows with Martinelli
Villa: Watkins
BHA: Mitoma* (probs Minteh but tbc)
Chelsea: Palmer*, Madueke imo, Neto when fit
Palace: Eze
Pool: Diaz, Salah*, Jota when fit
City: Grealish, Savio, Foden, Haaland*
Utd: who knows
Newcastle: Isak*
Forrest: CHO
WHU: Kudus

I put that cute little star thingy * beside players who are clearly better than what we have

is bottom third material probably.

defence and midfield should be top 8 at least, although goal keeper is questionable.

it does frustrate me how we dont seem to pinch squad players off the better teams rather than overpaying on smaller teams better players

Watkins and Grealish are better than anything Spurs have imo.
