That's the kicker init. Why would anyone have faith in the guy that's made such a mess of so many manager hires making a good pick next time? I mean, reverb when he's literally hired the best manager on the market he facked it up.

I'm not totally Ange out for this reason. I agree we're probably never going to turn into a winning machine under him. Don't hate him either. But I do think it could get a heck of a lot worse (and in the short term almost certainly would) by switching without a proper idea of what the plan is and who we want to implement it. Rather than doing bad/hate him = sack

Not sure how anyone could be Ange in anymore tbh. It’s not like we looked that good at our best under him.

We just will never be consistent the way he plays and that something I’ve said since the beginning.

Plus I really don’t like his personality at all.

It is a very thin line worth of backing him, he has no credit in the bank left.

But mainly I think sacking him right now won’t improve us and pretty pointless

They should just do a fan whip round for hamstrings at this point

Agreed. It's tough defending him. I still remember reading articles about him changing things in the 2nd season, but not seen it yet except against City twice.

It's weird and at times it felt like sabotage, especially against Liverpool.

Would still give him until the end of season to turn it around. Last chance saloo. Can't be bothered with what happens if he sacked.

Angenostic here. I'd really like to believe. It's very nice in theory. But it's pretty tough when you can't actually it see with your own eyes

I feel like, as much as Hengy is right we're not going to be consistent, it seems like we're always really close to being grate. A combination of tactical tweaks, players being in form/not injured and we can blow teams away. Obviously that's not happened nearly enough and we are where we are.

I suspect Son is carrying an injury. If he ain't them it's a really dramatic, sudden drop off and we need to shift him in summer

Obviously have lived son over the years but clearly limited in overall game, so far too anonymous too often for an important experienced player

With the Son, the injury to Odobert really hurt him more than anyone. Odobert would have been good to rotate with, then Mikey Moore had his issue. Ange is then forced to start Son because the alternative is Werner.

He looks burnt out more than most.

He could still not be playing so much though

And play Werner instead? Not for me.

Son is clearly playing to many minutes. That’s why it was essential to get another ready made LW ( cheeky sancho bid bales?)

Such a weird summer transfer window as all the players we was told Ange wanted was ready to go ( eze, Neto, Gallagher, Ramsey ) yet ended up with all but 1 player being youngsters

Turn Werner signing into Neto ( eze ) and add a Left defender and the summer window would’ve been decent imo

Then right now we’d just need a holding 6 and Richy replacement.
