Read some god stuff on abbot , sounds like he is doing well

Any loans are good ones as long as it’s a step up in league

Do think Donley has something about him though ….stand out player in league 1 at his age and his first proper loan (I think)

No but did Donley play as many games as Moore for the first team at the age of 16/17? Different journey's.

I don’t get the Moore hasn’t played enough thing. Let’s be real his starts in the league he didn’t look ready and as Lilywhite rose said had a really bad illness.

He’s had a great progressive season

It's probably valid but we're not likely to do a 180 on system and style and go long ball, low block. And I do agree he can be better than what we've seen but Danso and even Gray have looked better over the season

This system is extreme though. Even dial it back 15% he’d be fine imo

I don’t agree, the defenders still have to do a fair bit of covering and I genuinely don’t think he is that strong when exposed. Additionally the quality difference on the ball between Dragu and the Pool CBs is significant.

I do agree he will be better but unless we have a huge stylistic shift I don’t think good enough.

Wouldn’t be against him getting a championship loan or lower prem team ….oh we are anyway

Vuskovic too young but gray and bergvall done okay……so maybe not …..Romero def away going on his comments about the Spanish league so we will need another cb …..dorrington and Phillips seem meh

Good listen and by the sounds of it, Donley, Keeley and Abbot have got championship clubs lined up.

Didn't mention Phillips. Don't think another season being loaned out is the worst thing as long as they are stepping up and playing on the regs.

Think Phillips right now has the best chance for next season.

Also Luca Williams-Barnett's numbers are better than Mikey Moore's for the U18's right now.....

Agreed, though I wouldn’t mind seeing him get a few more 15 minute cameos.

Similarly if we are dead certain on moving Bissouma id rather see his minutes in non-important games move to youth

If there is one person who would like Vardy you’re definitely the type

I hate him but you have to respect him.

I dunno if respect is the word admire him for sure, trying to live like he does had me falling through the non-league leagues in my 20s, not shooting to the PL title

Thought that podcast (the lab) was good but it does follow a similar narrative to what all the youth guys say ‘why sign Odobert/Tel when you have Moore etc coming through’. Which I just don’t agree with, if Tel or Odo came through our academies we’d be talking about the best talents we’ve had in years

Agreed, no harm in chucking a few hurdles in the way. If Moore is as good as we all hope he will be, he has to prove he is better.

Agree with Hengy, Moore showed flashes of what is he capable of but he does need to strengthen up abit. But what a run he had in the team and he now knows he has to work his butt off to get back in.

Lets see what he is made off and you can bet Odobert and Tel are looking over their shoulder as well.

But I do think he over reacted to rumours of us wanting to sign Tel for lower than the £50m quoted.

Lillywhite went off on blocking pathways for youth players like Moore on the back of a story wanting us to sign Tel for lower than the £50m quoted.

I don't get it either. Clearly we're going down the youth route. I don't see what difference it makes signing a 26 year old to a 19/20 year old in terms of blocking his path. In fact he's got a better chance of starting ahead of them

That said, Tel has not proven he's worth the agreed fee

€60m they want in total. We have paid €10m already.

I wouldn't pay more than another €30m tops. He was better against Forest. Still raw.

Actually I don't mind him. He has a stupid face but endearingly so. Had a soft spot since seeing those videos of him getting jump scared by his teammates and screaming like a girl

Cristian Romero's face is incredibly punchable. As is Pedro Porro's, although I love Porro anyway

Seems like a nice bloke tbf which is part of what keeps him driving forward as a player cos he's got a level of humility

Do agree about Jesus though

Ben "White", Trossard and Jesus probably the worst offenders at Arsenal I'd say. Havertz not far behind.
