so, next day i come in and they offer me the cash and give me a driver to take me to the bank.

first of all i say ive changed my mind and dont want the cash until ive opened an account.

then a bit later i tell them ive changed my mind, and i;ll take it afterall.

as i collect the cash i tell them that i was expecting to be paid a bit less than that.

i subsequently send them an email ackowledging receipt of the cash and asking them to check the figure cos i thought it was a bit too high...

so....toda the fakin financial controller comes back.

walks past me in the corridor and blanks me.

i stop him and say "have you done me my payslip yet ?"

this afternoon he comes in with my payslip telling me to sign a bit of paper.

i tell him ill have a look at the figures first.

hes put a note on there saying that my accomodation allowance was paid by mistake cos the companies paying it direct this month.

no thank you for pointing the mistak out or anything like that.

anyway, i sent him an email saying that i think his calculations now too low and that my pro rata salary for the month should be based on days worled v days in the year....

he calls me up and says can i come through to his office to discuss the figures.

i say "no, im busy, and there's nothing to discuss anyway because ive told him what the figure should be in my email" and put the phone down.

2 hourslater i get a snotty email saying ive got my figure "wrong" and that he wants the money back immediately.


i send him an email telling him he's out of order and that my figure isnt wrong and that in any case i wont be handing any money back and he'll need to adjust it next month.
