Bush and Blair killed more Iraqis than Saddam ever did aswell.

I hadnt actually realised how many iraqi soldiers were killed. 30,000. agree that's a lot of people.

civilian deaths though were estimated at around 3,000 by an independent source. even the iraqi information ministry claim 'only' 7,000.

Hussein however has been accused of having killed "hundreds of thousands" of iraqis (including up to 200,000 kurds), let alone the iranians and others whose death he was responsible for.

There appears to be no dout therefore that the statement that blair and bush killed more iraqis than saddam, is palpably false. In terms of civilians, Saddam probably killed well in excess of 100 times as many (10,000%) than were killed in the 2003 war.

Bringing the matter back to the original topic, of whether america's foreign policy in syria is responsible for more carnage than its policy in iraq, an estimated 40,000 people have been killed in syria (to no legitame or beneficil end), and pretty much the whole country lies in ruins.
