9 point lead..... effectively 10 with the goal difference.
January 2nd looms large. Much more than a 3 point game.
Did we learn anything today we didn't know already

Anyone confident for the 2nd? I can’t say I am.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m rarely confident before OF games, especially away. With the pedestrian way we’ve been playing in recent weeks, definitely not. Just no drive or spark in midfield. We’ve largely been “getting away with it” of late, but the signs have been there for a while. Even the home game vs Hibs was a travesty of a scoreline, as they cut us open repeatedly. Don’t get me wrong, we’re in a great place, but we can’t keep playing like this every week.

The blame for today lies completely with Rodgers.
Every year he pulls this nonsense out in playing a team that’s full of 2nd string players along with a bench with sod all firepower.
I mean Welsh, Yang and Palma all in the same team ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Happened earlier in the season against Falkirk too. Rescued late in the game with subs.
We played it far too safe today.

The only think making me believe we will survive Ibrox on the 2nd is the way Rangers resorted to form yesterday.
If they turn up and play like they did in the final; they’ll win
posted 2 weeks, 6 days ago
Maybe difficult to judge in today’s conditions, but Kyogo AND Idah together didn’t look a great shout. Presumably just tried it today due to lack of alternatives, but still.

I'm quietly confident that we won't get beat on the 2nd. It not a game we need to win but that would be sweet.
The team will look radically different to today. Their league form is patchy at best.

Well if Celtic play with a ten man defense then yes I agree we will struggle, although if we raise the bar a couple of inches, then perhaps not so much

I'm not feeling as negative as some about the 2nd.
OF games are kinda unique and I can't see us playing as safe as we did today. Especially if Rangers decide they can't sit in like they did last weekend due to the home crowd not allowing it, they'll leave space in behind for us to exploit.
They're also still quite a bit sheeite
