I’m not sure how calm anyone will be if that relegation zone gets within 3-5 points.
The manager needs to and is probably ripping it all up and starting again… but fack me, we do need to pick up some points at some stage.

I'll back the manager and I've written the season off.
And if we accept we don't have the forwards (the fire power) to convert the chances then there's little Amorim can do to influence that until the summer.
BUT he should be able to improve our defence. Certainly should be expected to reduce the goals we're conceding. Whether that's the ineffective zonal marking, the brainfart from our goalies or players like Hojlund or Zirkzee being so weak and getting outmuscled for the aerial balls in. This set piece nonsense has to stop.
So yes the season is a write off to a large extent, but if we're not capable of winning games at the very least we should be making it bloody hard to lose them. Why is there zero scrutiny towards this?

It is your prerogative to be laid back about seeing a club the size of Manchester United in the championship not because of point deduction etc but for not being good enough for the premier league!!

I'll back the manager and I've written the season off.
And if we accept we don't have the forwards (the fire power) to convert the chances then there's little Amorim can do to influence that until the summer.
BUT he should be able to improve our defence. Certainly should be expected to reduce the goals we're conceding. Whether that's the ineffective zonal marking, the brainfart from our goalies or players like Hojlund or Zirkzee being so weak and getting outmuscled for the aerial balls in. This set piece nonsense has to stop.
So yes the season is a write off to a large extent, but if we're not capable of winning games at the very least we should be making it bloody hard to lose them. Why is there zero scrutiny towards this?

Unfortunately, I'm old enough to remember the last time we were relegated, and one of our all time greats effectively relegating us. I don't think we will this time but it's going to be a long hard slog.
