I get why he joined Chelsea in the first place as he was central to Maresca gameplan at Leciester, Maresca very likely requested his signing (so Maresca is partly culpable) but the standard in the PL playing at Chelsea exceeds Dewsbury-Hall' level.

Update - I missed the part Maresca cited Dewsbury-Hall unavailability was due to an injury.

There's still a high chance Dewsbury-Hall leaves (along with Carney & Casadei) anyway and Ugochuwku + Santos possibly get recalled (if there is indeed a recall clause).
Coming to think about it, it's a mystery why Forest never used Santos last season. Could have been in handy in their troubles.
