Happy with that today! Some decent performances-Engels had his best game in a while. Midfield was good, defence was good, and Kühn played well. St Johnstone played decent football at times, but they made zero impact going forward. We need to be more efficient and clinical up front.

Statement surely being drafted?

The thing is that the second OF game of the season will have absolutely no affect on where the title is going.
Strange times indeed

Funnily enough when we met years ago you actually described this scenario. They'd win the odd cup and the league occasionally. Clairvoyant.

Absolutely imo, lose it's 11 points,12 with goal difference, we will have to collapse to lose it now but let's just crack on

I heard some of clement being interviewed going into the game today, and just heard some of what he’s said after the game.
He’s lost the plot again. Surprised his phone hasn’t got hundreds of messages after one of those goals that was disallowed.

Just as saw the Butland foul, if I'm honest I didn't see anything wrong with that? Imo, and obvs mine only goalkeepers get a fair bit of protection? That said after watching most of the game Rangers had chances but didn't take them

United win 1-0 at a sold out Tannadice, 95th minute winner against the ovine lovers.
Not a bad way to close out the year.

Only saw the last 10 mins, but sounded like it overall. Having said that, looked a clear foul on Polvara at the start of injury time, with the Utd player going right through the back of him … Beaton bizarrely gives it the other way, and a minute later Utd are scoring the winner down the other end.

Yep, never a foul on Butland. Keeper absolutely fooked it and was rescued by Clancy, who was then inexplicably backed up by VAR.

Dundee United so far the only domestic club Celtic have failed to score against.
In fact in only one other occasion have they failed to score more than one goal - a 1-0 win against Aberdeen.

Past calendar year Celtic have lost 2 competitive games.
Stuff of Corinthian proportions.
In March to the Diets (Pen missed & Red Card for fvk all).
And in October the absolute riding we took in Germany.
Jock Stein would recognise & applaud that response.
He always said Celtic's best runs came after a setback.

READY?
With the recent patter coming out from the Gers first team - should the Advertising Standards investigate this motto?
Clement: Sports Science tell me when we are ready
Propper: I’ll be ready for Euro games
Danillo: I’ll be ready for Home games
Cerny: I’ll be ready when I’m not so tired
Igname: I’m too tired to be ready
Tav: I’ll be ready for the next game
Yilmaz: I’ll be ready for Lord of the Rings casting
Etc ….
