Theres a lot of good shouts this year so far
Decent team, I'd have vvd in there for obvious reasons he's the best CB in the league still.
Jackson should be in conversation arguably better than palmer this season? Semenyo kerkez gf shouts. Kulu has to be in there for me too

Yeah he's been excellent in the games I've watched and has the best save percentage in the league. Haven't seen much of Sels although he has kept the most clean sheets, however in a team that sits back and counters.

Chelsea fans hate Sanchez, dropped a lot of clangers this season. But it's your choice I guess.

The best keepers nowadays playing in possession based teams make more clangers than the best in the past. Alisson as much as anybody. This will be the case however as they're required to take more risks with the ball. Ultimately what they give you is far more than what the odd clanger costs you.

Kelleher was brilliant but hasnt played enough?
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Sanchez's errors have largely been basic keeper errors such as not coming off his line quick enough, dropping crosses etc plus he is bad at possession based football.
Not sure what games you watched (maybe the Liverpool one only) but he wouldn't be in my top 10, possibly even top 15. Awful keeper, and one of the big reasons Chelsea were never taken as serious challengers.

Sounds like I need to watch a bit more of him but for me having the best save percentage also is more than having the most clean sheets which is more about the team than the keeper.

don't think there's been a standout keeper so went with sels so there was some forest representation

Surprised to see one person, nevermind two, leaving out VVD who has been world class this season again. By far the best centre back in the league and has shown it this season despite his predicted downfall after a poor season having been out for much of the previous one due to injury.
Statistically he's in the 80th-95th percentile for aerials duals won per 90 and has lost 0.2 challenges on average per game. He has a forward passing accuracy around 82% also which has been a massive weapon for us this season and indeed many other seasons. You could also use your eyes of course

I think Konate has been better than him this season. starting to look a bit creaky when the balls on the floor, ground duel success rate dropped significantly
obviously still a fantastic player but yeah don't think hes been one of the two best CBs in the league

He has a better ground dual success than Saliba who you've put in and Gabriel who DJ put in. Also better than Konate. His current ground dual success is the highest it's been since the 19/20 season. Milenkovic was the only player I could see that has higher but that's understandable playing in a much more defensive system.
posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Edit - Saliba is actually slightly higher this season so far, I was looking at last season for him.

Mac Allister should be in midfield for me. Doesn't really have flashy moments other than the odd goal, but he is essential to our style of play. Palmer, as brilliant as he can be, often goes missing and I'm not sure he's really a midfielder. He doesn't get in to my team ahead of Saka/Salah in the wide forward roles so has to miss out.
