I don't know... Cunha looks superb to me.

Joao Pedro is another who isn't a striker, but plays a bit deeper. Unless Odegaard plays deeper, can't really see where he would fit either.

No-one. But the money was spent so how can Kroenke be blamed? Is he meant to scout the player, do the negotiations and seal the deal???

You're missing my point. Kroenke is only willing to spend when fans' pressure increase. He had to spend the Rice's money in order to diffuse the debacle of Super League situation as there were many angry Arsenal fans who were against the idea of Super League. Now the fans are on their side, and he is not helping Arteta out so Arsenal can win the league or Champions League. Kroenke will cause us our best players to leave the club. We have a young group that can dominate for years. Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, and Man City have always outspent us over the years. However, now we only lack a top striker and quality cover for Saka. If we don't bring a serious trophy this season, then it is going to be a major step back and will affect the whole squad.

The summer we signed Rice was on the back of finishing second and enthusiasm towards the club had not been as high since 2004.

In that time Liverpool have spent €250 less (gross and net) and City have spent €400m less (net).

I am talking about all the signings that happened after the Super League debacle is only to get the Arsenal fans on their side. Because the idea of Super League cannot be forgotten so easily. However, if you support Kroenke that is ok, but I am not a fan.

Don't show me the last few years what we have spent. Arsenal fans were told for years that the club was paying back the money for the stadium. Wenger sacrificed major trophies for his career in order to help out Arsenal. I may see the situation repeat itself if we don't sign great striker for next season. We have the best defence, but goals win you more games. Liverpool have better firepower.

So you are attacking Kroenke for not spending but not allowing what he has spent to be used in the argument

There has been no sacrifice under Arteta, we have spent an absolute fortune and should have the squad he wants.

Absolutely ridiculous to blame spending, you would rather bankrupt the club or have it getting point deductions, relegation and ruin.

Rice's signing was an attention grabber and people fell for it. Arteta will only get a great striker from Kroenke for next season if he wins the Champions League or Premier League this season. His method is, bring me success, and I shall reward you for what you need. He doesn't do it out of a desire or love for the club. Only the fans can put pressure on the owner.

Oh, now he spends if he gets success. A minute ago it was due to fan pressure

Didn’t we break our record for goals scored in a season last season? And the year before?
