City and us are probably best placed in terms of PSR. Utd have more necessity but probably need to sell to buy what they actually need
posted 4 days, 19 hours ago
Think it could be City, sounds like they have the capacity to do so, Utd won't unless they make major sales and I don't think that's possible, Arsenal could creep in there but do feel City will make some good level purchases
posted 4 days, 19 hours ago
I definately think City will spend, rare to make marquee signings in January though.
posted 4 days, 19 hours ago
I think it'll be Arsenal and City, as both probably have the need and the capacity.
Chelsea will be more about opportunistic stuff, Newcastle who knows. Utd I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do that much after spending a lot in the summer and having nothing to show for it.

Yeh it's a tough window to really get the players clubs really want in Jan? Still think you'll get one or two decent signings

Be very little activity from everyone I imagine.

Will be an interesting one. As City haven't spent what they needed to on the squad for a few windows now and for me there has to be a reason for that. Is it because they have counted potential punishments into their spend? Perhaps. Although for me if they had a bad feeling about a transfer ban or something they'd spend more now, before it came in like Chelsea did. However if they fear relegation then they'd rather not spend right now and wait.
I guess with them in the position they're now in we'll find out what the thinking is in January.

We're bidding 100m for Olmo

Levy under pressure to spend so it's time to activate this "special partnership" with Real. Bellingham and Vini Jr to come in for 250m to help bolster the attack and Rudiger straight swap with Romero.
Then I see us going in the market for a midfielder. My bet would be on Valverde or Barella, but possibly settle for Pedri.
Finish 14th. Job done.

It was a toss up between Spurs and Newcastle for the list of contenders.
Despite Levy's rep for being a tightarse, Spurs have spent a lot of money over the last 3 seasons.

The best we can hope for is loan deals at United. We've done a fair few strikers in the past in January, wouldn't be surprised if we do so again.
I also have a sneaky feeling we'll find £50-£60m to buy a LWB if we find one suitable. May depend on a sale or two though.
Best we can hope for atm.

We need to sell to buy. Maybe there’s a few million quid to spend if we can get our hands on a young player Amorim really likes, but beyond that we’ll be reliant on permanent deals for Rashford, Zirkzee or maybe Casemiro, none of which I see happening.
