We are three points clear of the playoffs and top of the league - yet are in crisis due to a goal we conceded in a game where we had to sub off two of our defenders with injuries.
We can't score goals - despite the fact we are the highest scorers in the league.
We always concede - despite the fact we are third in terms of least goals conceded and haven't let one in for the three games that we played before this.
Farke dosent know what he is doing in this league - despite the fact he got us 90 points last year and literally has the best record of any manager in this league
Today was a frustrating result, but honestly the reaction to it is just odd.

We are three points clear of play offs. But, we should
be further ahead than that based on the squad and
resources we have. We find multiple ways to shoot
ourselves in both feet too often. We should be comfortably in the driver's seat. We're not. Why?

We both know why Batty. It’s for the reasons you’ve made elsewhere in this thread. We’ll get promoted this season but I honestly think you and I could get them up given the squad we’ve got versus the rest of a poor championship (in terms of players and managers). No way in this world that Farke lasts beyond Christmas 25 though. No way at all. Personally, I’d say ‘thanks a bunch’ in the summer when we scrape second place and then give the new man all the investment and time of a pre season. We won’t tho. Cos we’re Leeds.

Sorry Jonty. We all saw it coming! Myself and a few blokes around me just knew where that ball was going.
I see what you getting at because before we scored B on backbone did nothing. But at that point we saw it coming.

On a more positive note, at least we don’t have to watch Blackburn every week. No wonder they play at Ew-wood Park.

Sunderland pegging back Sheff U.
Five points separate 1st and 4th as of now.
Going to be a typical long slog to May.

I thought this was a 3 horse race. The way Sunderland
are playing, we're back to 4 horses. January's going to
be a big factor. Will all 4 stick with what they have?
Will one or two throw caution to the wind? Will it matter?

I think today's game shows our lack of imagination. we knew what B'burn would do (time waste etc), they know what Farke will do (subs after an hour, tippy tappy 40 to 60 yards out).
We have no plan B, no sense of urgency and little change of direction after restart. Far too predictable. Were they all out on the razz last night?
I hope it's a blip otherwise we're in for a dour second half of the season. There has to be some soul searching after this appalling offering AT HOME!

Keep hearing the excuse (including from Farke) that the heavy Xmas schedule has taken its toll - as though we’re the only ones who’ve had to endure it.
posted 3 days, 3 hours ago
I like fake and trust him to get us up, but someone the other day said all fans want to see is a win, they dont care about anything else.
It's not true, we don't want to be bored out of our skulls, we seem really one dimensional and I don'\t think we'll cut the mustard in Prem with substantial change and the biggest of those changes being the manager.
This must sounds crazy to outsiders, but this football today was like watching paint dry at times.

Out of our last 10 games we have got 23 points. I don't think there is much to moan about. Blackburn set up well and made it was difficult to break them down. I don't think we played particularly well but still should have won. These things happen over the season.
posted 3 days, 3 hours ago
My point was, we're so predictable. slow to react to a possible break. Blackburn like Derby parked the bus. Ok against Derby we got lucky and you can be sure b'burn weren't going to make the same mistake.
We were outhought. and outplayed tactically. And to cap it all couldn't defend a lead for more than 3 minutes. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us.
Everyone will know what we're doing next so look forward to more games like this.

Such nonsense. If they were constantly hitting us on the break I'd say we were out thought. That was there only real chance of the game and they scored it.
