I agree with that mont. Piroe as an impact sub if
there's a better 9 in front of him would be excellent.
Hard to pull off, but excellent if it happened.

Always liked Mitrovic as a battering ram, sh 1 t houser,
goal scoring, lead the line machine. Someone like him
in this side would be a really nice change up.

If we were going for a striker to loan I think he would be first choice.
I like Piroe as an impact sub and joseph's not cutting it.

You honestly think the club is going to replace piroe, who cost £10m, 3rd top scorer in League, best goal ration per minutes, with a Loanee.

Not a chance

I think those three words cover most fans hopes,
and any chance of signings this window. Sadly.

I really hope you're right. Just one in
the right position and we have every
chance of staying top. And going up.

Finding the right signings the hard bit I wouldn’t mind a Kiefer Moore type signing who could come on from the bench and make a difference or slot in when injuries kick in but they aren’t hanging up on the back of a door and signing a player who would come straight in up front would be virtually impossible for many reasons

I don't think it's virtually impossible Don.
Hard? No doubt. But, haven't our recruitment
team shown they're as savvy as any. Flex those
big brains and wallet once more.

I do agree with you on this one Batty. I don't think it's impossible either ....
.....I've just got a feeling 49ers might just find one of those players from a European (Japanese?) league (no one we will know) who doesn't necessarily expect to start, but who wants the chance to get into English football and potentially the chance of the EPL.
And could be in any position - striker or 10 (but betcha it's not a goalie 😜)

Batty, that coming from you is gold, it shoots most of your arguing down!..
Sign this get that, thing is, while the same argument every season is being re-run, nobody knows whats going on around the club, I said before the 49ers took over we should wait and see how things go, I said when they took over we should give them a chance!..
This year people are saying our team is better than last,(maybe maybe not!)but that came after the start of their running where they had to work around a shed full of loans gone wrong, and at the same time find new players without being allowed to spend to much!..
They've cleared most of the crap and brough in not one player anybody had on their radar, and some of those players were to us never heard of, so, people can go on all they want with naming who they want, but if anything happens the chances are we'll know nothing about them, and boy ain't it fun getting unheard of players that have helped get you to the top of your league?..
I'll let our savvy as any flex those big brains and wallet once more and bring in whoever they think can do the job, and that includes a keeper if they feel they want one!..

Germany, not really.
I've said time and again, Bamford's stealing a living.
Always injured. Sh 1 t. Should've been sold two seasons ago.
I've also said Meslier's sh 1 t. Not progressed in
three seasons. If we're a meritocracy, he should
not be starting.
I've said Firpo can't defend. He can't. But, end of
last season and the few times he's not been injured
or suspended this season, he's been good. Now
it looks like he's going to sign for Betis and leave.
Not fussed. He's not Prem level.
I've said Farke's crap at subs. And thinks tactics
are a tiny white mint. I've said he has blinkers for
certain players - he does - and ignores others
when he could clearly use them - Joffy, Schmidt,
Darlow, add in Joseph and Largie not enough.
I've speculated that Farke is the reason several
members of our very good recruitment team have
now left - after their really good summer work
and the solid free agent signing of Guivoglu.
I've said Farke's data driven 70th minute subs
are a joke. Because they are. I think he might
get us up to the Prem. But, he'll send us right
back down.
And that we drag our feet in the January window.
I now feel though, it's Farke who's holding things up
because he wants Buendia or nothing.
Among other things, that's the core of my ramblings.
How is that counter to:
"Hard? No doubt. But, haven't our recruitment
team shown they're as savvy as any. Flex those
