After playing Dyer and Howard to such effect against Direby they probably wont be going anywhere.
But booking and injuries who knows if Tunch will recalled?
But for the likes of Oakley a short or not so short loan spell will keep him fit.

But i think the long medium term future for all mentioned is not at the king power walkers filbertway stadium.

You've gotta feel sorry for these players though, they played a huge part in our 09/10 play off season

I'd like to see Franck Moussa go out on loan, to get himself some regular action. HE went to doncaster last year, and was evidently very impressive, so a mid to lower champ side for him.

One person who does want to leave on loan is Sean St. Ledger:

Would be surprised if Sven authorized this given he only signed a few months ago and he's our only back-up. But do we want an unhappy player. To be fair to him though the Merc do have a tendency to exaggerate a bit. Would mean a recall for Tunch though.

To be honest though I can see the likes of Dyer and Howard and Moussa etc. leaving on loan later in the season because when everyone is, I can't see them getting a look in to be honest and now we're out of the Carling Cup, they'll have no real first team options. I wouldn't like to see it because we have a situation like against Derby and we need them in the squad but I can't see them (Howard especially) settling for that.

We all knew that players being unsettled would be a problem given the size of squad we have and this is why I would have liked us to have a reserve team entered and get these guys playing proper, regular football rather than the odd friendly and 5 minute cameo now and then because it will keep them happier and they'll be fitter when they're needed for the first team.

We don't have a reserve team because sven finds them counter effective. He said that senior players don't get the match fitness as they are not competitive enough or challenging enough. He also said that they organise friendly matches whenever they are needed behind closed doors & that there are always lots of teams to play. These are a lot better in terms of providing players not in the regular 1st team & players recovering from injury with what they need. I don't know the specifics but I quote him from a q&a I went to last season with him, fzack & the birch.

With the size of squad we have I would be in favour of having a reserve team. Keeps players reasonably happy, fit and ready to step up when we need them too.

As for them not gaining fitness due to lack of comptetitive edge, even if they jog round a pitch for 90mins not doing anything, its still a fitness boost.

I can understand St. Ledgers disappointment, and I thought he would get more appearances than he has done, however with bamba and mills on 3 & 4 yellow cards already, we might be needing him soon.
