Are smaller clubs not given the option to reverse the venue so they collect a huge boost in gate receipts. Sure they allowed this before. Would have done wonders for Tamworth’s coffers for sure.

I don't know what the current rules are on this, it hardly ever happens though for some reason.

I believe only where rules and regs cannot be met on the home ground, or on police advice...and this rarely ever happens anymore.

But then again he probably still has the abuse from last seasons cup exits ringing in his ears.

Also, a few goals for Werner probably helps us more for the rest of this season. No doubt Lanks will get some minutes today.

Why would the be the 'right thing'? We're not a charity. Tamworth have hiked their ticket prices massively this game. They'll sell about 3500 tickets at an average of about £50 a pop. That's £175k, probably more than they've made on gate receipts all season put together. Plus they'll get a bunch of tv money. They're doing fine out of this game.

Really professional away performance from Spurs.

Keep it nice and tight for the first 100 minutes or so, take the heat out of things and keep the home fans quiet, then turn the burners on and take control of the game.

Possible blueprint for the trip to Anfield.
