Nuno to win the league.

He's having a decent season.

Nevermind woodinho......what about Elanga? He's been incredible for Forest.

Another huge red mark against Erik's name I'm afraid. £17m was an absolute bargain for him and we paid £85m for the fidget spinner as his replacement. 😭

Absolutely no chance any of our fans would think Elanga us remotely good enough if he were still at the club.

Was a beast for Leeds 7/8 years ago or so. Scored 30+ in the championship the season before he left.

He's reborn atm

He never got a full run of games tbf. Played the odd game here or there and was used mainly as an impact sub.

With the little we had to go off it's hardly a surprise most of us thought he wasn't good enough. But the people who saw him every day at Carrington should have had a better idea.

Can't say that Antony, Hojlund, Zirkzee or Mason Mount have brought more to United than he has to Forest either.

We have to take the L here. Our loss is very much their gain.

He's alright, but he's no Viktor Gyökeres.

Under OGS and ETH the football was often counter attacking (and particularly effective under OGS), and the media narrative was that United could never fight for the title doing that. Yet the media seem convinced that Forest can do so, and by being far more defensive than United ever were.

Everything is easier in hindsight of course, but I do have to query why he wasn’t send out on loan*.

*I suppose the answer is that as a youth player, his sale represented pure profit on the books. If that’s the case, it sort of makes a mockery of the system (or rather, our processes).

Lucky mousers.

Anyway, do we have a buy back clause on Elanga?

posted 10 hours, 46 minutes ago

Elanga is benefitting from playing every week, in the right system for his game, around the right players, in a side which is playing with incredible confidence and discipline.

None of which he’d have had if he’d stayed at United.

Elanga is doing well, but I think he would need to show another level before I would have him back.

But many players will leave Utd and find their comfort zone at other clubs.

Transfers were the undoing of ETH.

Selling Elanga and Alvaro look like big mistakes and we didn't exactly get big money for them either to soften the blow.

Antony, Mount, Hojlund, Casemiro, Onana and Malacia coming in the other way and none of them have lived up to the billing / price tag.

I still don't think he's a terrible coach. However it's clear he's not a very good judge of talent.

How many months into Amorim's era, and SE85's primary topic is still ETH out.

If the bald fraud stayed, I am confident we would’ve also lost Amad. He would go to another side and probably do same as elanga is doing and our fans would be saying same thing about not being good enough. You don’t give players a run of games how are we to know.

He’d go to another side and be… as bang average as Elanga?

Rashford and Garnacho have better G+A figures than Elanga across comps this season. Hojlund has as many as him, and even Zirkzee is only two short.

He’s hardly setting the world alight.
